Then you don't know me very well. This is the only topic that I get angry on really fast(well this and women beaters and pedophiles). I am the most laid back and non-confrontational guy there is, which is odd because of the job I have. I never lose my temper and just blow things off. There was a time when we (America) had the support of the entire world. There were hundreds of thousands of people all over in the streets in support of US after 911...including Baghdad and Tehran.
We were feed the revenge propaganda. Everyone supported the war because they needed someone to pay...whoever it was didn't matter. We were lied to. Hell, even Saddam was buddies with our 'leaders' right up until the 'shock and awe' bombing began. War is business, it's not about us. Harsh intrepretations of Sharia are roughly the same as harsh intrepretations of Christian 'law'... both are intrepreted by hatred and bigotry. and not all of Islam practices this way. However the true transgressor here was the people that wrote upon it. Given time and some well placed words... The People of Afganistan will see this also.
