I kinda doubt it. It will be years before gays have rights, people have health care, and such. The more people in this equation the worse its going to get IMO.

Kudos for you in paying for your education, but I'm attendig college as well and there are many more grants available to "minorities" than for citzens. I'm sorry, but here in California, non-whites are the minority. But are not treated so. Can't even get a decent job unless you are bilingual. I'm sorry but I don't believe that is fair. Our country, you should adapt to us, NOT us to you!
I only said keep it fair, even across the board. How much would it cost for others across the world to immigrate? I don't know, but where there is a will there is a way, as Needs has said before.
If someone were to come into your house without your permission and started using your things, eating your food, demanding money and right to be there and then ask how much will it cost to get rid of me when all they had to do was ask first?

I agree Creations, its imposable to get any grant or lone to goto collage if your white here in Kentucky. And my scholarship was taken away from me and given to a Mexican kid who barely spoke English cause they wanted to keep in step with the NAACP.

And the scholarship was for English studies, go figure.

there is a big difference between minoritiy citizens and international students. International student do not usually qualify for student loans, lines of credit, grants or scholarship and like TLW said ...his expenses are triple for the same education.

In post secondary education, it is the international students subsidizing the education of the locals.

This country was founded on immigration. They came acrss the Atlantic ocean to do so. Do you really think that if we told them to find a way here and but they must first become a citizen that they wouldn't? All should be welcome, as long as they obey the laws.
