I don't think I'm lame, boring or extra lonely, a little shy sometimes but being a lot older than most, some of the forums are directed at a younger group..

I would say that with your 8,170 posts you are not just a "viewer"

I refer to them as ghosts...they ghost in and out....if they have something to say they generally contact you privately. Same thing with the ones who use the stealth mode.

I have viewed this thread about a thousand times now, but I still can't think of a post for it. So I won't say anything.

I am new here but there does seem to be the talkative group and the quieter group (the leftovers...lol). But it is like that anywhere you go, not just in forums here. If you go to a function there are the group or groups of people who huddle together and talk, then there are the people who go to the back of the room and sit by themselves. It is just their personality. But something that might hurt this forum is there is no email reply when someone posts in a topic after you do like so many other forums do...

I am fairly active in the forums but sometimes nothing strikes my fancy so I bow out (or log off to be more precise) Other times I find that I am the last poster in 4-5-6 threads and that kind of makes me think everyone has gone to bed.

There are many ways to use a site like this and we all use it how it 'fits' for us. Labels, for me, have no place in this.
