Hitman with Timothy Olyphant. Pretty good.

That's from Chris Smith who also did the excellent Severance and Triangle. He's one of the best new directors of horror. When people talk about new Masters of horror, I don't think Rob Zombie, I think of guys like Smith who are doing something original in the horror genre. Rob Zombie is not a Master of Horror, he's just F***ed Up But there are some who do consider him one. |

Hitman with Timothy Olyphant. Pretty good. But it could've been so much better. |

Hitman with Timothy Olyphant. Pretty good. But it could've been so much better. Yea I agree. He was nowhere near as naked as I like my cowboys. |

Cheesy double feature: Both great fun.
The Manster 1959- An American reporter visiting Japan is injected by a serum that causes him to slowly split into to beings. This is one of many films that Army of Darkness pays homage to- the eyeball on the shoulder, and when Good Ash and Bad Ash split is very similar to the split in The Manster. Night Fright 1968- Residents of a small town are terrorized by a giant mutated ape. |

Eh, I'm still on zombie film fest mode. Bite me.
Rewatched: Day of the Dead - this movie is one of my all-time favorites! I liked the lead character, Cpl. Sarah Cross and her zombie admirer. Diary of the Dead Dance of the Dead - I always found this one to be hilarious. Shaun of the Dead The Evil Dead |

Check out Doghouse if you haven't seen it yet. I think Skyline opens this week. Thanks, will take a look and see if I can find it here in Ireland. So it's a global release on the same day for Skyline, usually the US gets the movies first. |

Check out Doghouse if you haven't seen it yet. I think Skyline opens this week. Oh, I watched Black Sheep years ago and found the idea hilarious! It had all the necessary ingredients to put together a traditional and delightfully clichéd creature-feature. A severed thumb up! |

I think it is getting a global release. |
