Been watching the movies from the Pure Terror 50 film set:
The first 3 I watched were ones I've already seen but I wanted to see if the versions differed than what I already had, and in the case of one I hadn't seen it since it was released: The Undertaker And His Pals '66- Hilariously cheesy horror comedy. There's supposedly a gorier lost version somewhere out there. Mutant '84- Very entertaining zombie/infected flick. My Mom's A Werewolf '89- This is the one I hadn't seen since it was released. It's a fun little comedy, but the werewolf effects....ugh. |

I saw Conviction last night. It was just over an hour and a half, yet it seemed to last for hours. Ugh.

The new Nightmare on Elm St. I liked it it was pretty good I still haven't brought myself to watch it yet. I need to, couldn't be worse than some of the sequels. |

Cool. I'll check it out. I like the actor that plays Freddy in this one.
I remember at one time it was rumored that Billy Bob Thornton was considered for the part....that would have been interesting. |

Dude did a good job
Oh really? that definitely would've been interesting. |

I'm picturing Billy Bob doing Freddy like his character from Slingblade.

The Kung Fu Kid...I mean The Karate Kid remake. Really enjoyed it. A rare remake that I enjoyed as much as the original.
Keep My Grave Open '76. Super low-budget pre-Halloween slasher. From the same director as Don't Look In The Basement. Cool little twist ending. Also part of the Pure Terror 50 movie set- the quality is not that great but still better than the VHS tape I have. It features a very young Stephen Tobolowsky who is probably most famous for playing Ned Ryerson in Ground Hog Day. |

Kindergarten Cop, watched it this morning. |

The Sadist '63- Friends on their way to a baseball game find themselves stranded at a junkyard when their car breaks down. Unfortunately a cold-blooded psycho(played brilliantly by Arch Hall Jr)and his girlfriend are there to terrorize the friends. Great little film.
