I'll be 45 in September and been single for 2 years. I've accomplished many goals to stay busy but I think it's now time to get out there and take the bull by the horns.

When I was in my 20's I dated alot of people , now I'm 47 and getting back out there after 11 years of a tumultulous relationship. I don't know what to say, how to dress, where to go, and how to get over all the self esteem issues I did'nt have when I was in my 20's. I know what you mean.. After 20 years of marriage, I am out on the dating scene...It feels so strange...

There does have to be some kind of initial attraction; be it a smile, muscular or not muscular, hair or no hair, etc... it's just a starting point.. Everything after is what love is built from ;)

You start talking to someone they seem keen then out of the Blue it's a totally a different story. I have been stood up 3 times. It made me rethink what do I want. I really can't be bothered going through it again . Being friends isn't a bad idea and if something comes out of it then it's all good.
