Pulling my mother's left arm out of the rubble.
Putting on the water for Fifi. Talking my sister into going down on the General so we could get a whole turnip. Loading cartloads of manure with my bare hands. Picking nails out of boards with my first teeth to sell to the arms dealer (he paid cash for metal.) Tying down and burning the math teacher with gasoline. The first Beatles album. The miniskirt. The maxi skirt. The plastic squirt gun. The transistor radio. The tape recorder (reel to reel). My first wiener schnitzel. Losing my virginity and also that of my Russian tutor. Getting sacked at work for talking back to the man with the whip. The shooting ranges. The Olaf Pilaf. |

.10 cent soda pop
my dad doing the Woody Woodpecker 'laugh' Van Halen's 1984 concert my first pair of heels my first car - a bright yellow Vega hatchback a nightmare from when I was 3 ... yup I still remember every detail the year I was a redhead ... I was feisty ... there is something to red hair and a most embarrassing moment when I was 13ish ... I was at a main intersection waiting to cross the street. VERY cute guy with friends in a Trans AM (yes it was a big deal way back then ) with loud music playing ... traffic light changes ... I take one step off the curb as my shoe flies off my foot and lands right in front of his car half way across the street ... and me having to limp out with one shoe to collect it ... I am still mortified! And double feature movies! |

Speaking of back to the future... M.j.fox did a movie called Poison Ivy... Does anyone remember it? Now there's some other movie with the same name and its the one everyone seems to know? Oh and family ties!
Tonka!! Metel toys kicked a**! My big metel toys R us truck that I got when I was 3 I think is sitting on a shelf in my bedroom... I member dad bending it back to shape when he would get home for the weekend cause I rode around on it sitting on my knee pushing myself from state to state through the house. Standing in front of the snack bar purple and freezing at the pool waiting to get a snowcone. Mud drags for the 4th that lasted 3 days! Ben Franklin... Toys for me crafts for mom... Now that was a great store! Next to the penny store anyway. Penny candy... Mmmmmmmm... Brain games and fragel rock on HBO. BENNY HILL!!! |
