Ohhhh 8 tracks! To this day when I hear a song I had on 8 track, I still remember where the CLICK is when it changed tracks. laugh

You got your new license plate, they'd give you a miniature metal one for your keyring.

The first TV I watched was a flat screen. You had to almost be sitting directly in front of it to be able to see the picture.

What do ya'll recall?


That was apart of growing up?

-heating up everything without a microwave oven
- 80's hairdo didn't look weird
- There was one wired telephone in the whole house
- flip-card-number alarm clocks looked like something from the future
- First "quartz" wrist watch as something extraordinary
- VCR as a luxurious and expensive item to have
- 2 Channels on TV (Europe) by antenna and no broadcasting on mondays, television program ending at midnight and no broadcasting again until 8am.

-Kids playing in a sand box (a rarely ever see that)

i remember punky brewster was my hero..

i remember gidget and her best friend laroo

i remember being in love with the professor from giligans island.

i remember buying my car with a cd player that was so old i wouldn't play my burned cd's.

i remember the day my mom bought me my first gigantic Magnavox Boom Box.

i remember seeing naked gun 1 2 and 3 in the theatres with my older sister behind my mom's back..

OMG!

i remember going ot see home alone 2 and it was sold out but we didn't wanna go home.. so we saw whatever else was on.. MALCOM X. in the front damned row..

i grew up real quick that night.

i remember ordering books from the book mobile.

and the magazines at school i'd order comics from.

i remember selling suckers for band trips with the flag team.

i remember watching the berlin wall fall on tv.

i remember heart 2 heart, magnum pi, the A team, and Mash were all shows i hated and yet watched religiously.

and i remember my senior year when columbine went down. my high school was put on lockdown and three of my friends were pulled out of class due to the fact that they owned trench coats and were not popular.

i remember feeling like screaming at the idea that fear can make someone do even the most ignorant things.
