Dishonesty is unattractive period. I agree completly! Looks don't matter it's the personality that I go for I've dated ugly heck I've even married ugly! Lies get you no where Once I went to a job interview where I was told that the photo on my resume was the first they had seen where the person actualy looked like the picture What's up with that? interesting....i've never provided a photo with my resume.. |

i've seen people complain about meeting someone on a dating site such as this one alleges to be, and then on seeing them in person, they look nothing like their pictures. with such indignation, these people say that it's not about their looks but the fact that they were being dishonest by displaying a picture that isn't up-to-date etc. so i was wondering... would that same attitude prevail if the person turned out to look better than their pictures? Just be honest and genuine about who you are... someday soon.. people will find out what you look like so why hide? Do not bother to even put up a picture if it is not you because you make a fool out of yourself and you lying to yourself... not good..... |

i feel bad for the real mingers that put their real pictures no matter how totally unflattering they are. what does it say about you if you kick it to butt ugly hobo types cause you think they'll be easier prey? looks are important, very important, we dont all like the same thing but we know what we like when we see it and if you fake your pic you dont give anyone a chance to see(litterally) if they find something attractive in you, regardless of what categories your facial structure hair and skin type put you in. i hate when someone has like one photo and its of three ppl. Now thats shady. if you gotta hide your face so bad then why go on some bogus date and creep someone out? Those are the actions of an unbalanced mind. seriously.

I went out with a guy who looked hot as hell in his pic. Turned out he had airbrushed the hell out of it. Over dinner he told me a woman had actually left him stranded in a restaurant because he looked nothing like his pics. Would I have gone out with him if I had known what he really looked like? Probably not. But I still think it's stupid to lie, people have eyes, they will find out. but my question was the reverse. suppose his picture was unflattering, or suppose he had taken the picture months ago and in the interim worked his *** off in a gym... would the "lying" bother you then? Meh. Chances are that the guy with the " unflattering " pics isn't gonna get to that point very often anyway. |

It's The Internet. It's all games. If you worry about it,you'll end up insane like Howard Hughes. I take The Internet with a grain of salt. I am concerned only with my self-preservation in RL. be seeing you |

My Profile comes with a Complete Ugliness Warning label!
I stayed on here for the friends I made who have all either already met me or saw several pictures of me that I had on here prior, on my myspace or from the meet ups pics that were posted. |

I've had short hair for a long while now.. but I have pics of that up on my site too (yes those are recent). I would hope that anybody who wants to meet me would read my profile, or at least look at the other pictures I have up. |

so i was wondering... would that same attitude prevail if the person turned out to look better than their pictures? If a person looks better than their pictures, then that is often because that person isn't photogenic or simply took poor pictures of themselves. I don't think there is any deception there. That is why I'm not that picky about photos. |
