I am an old fashioned girl looking for a good man who knows how to treat a lady like a lady. I am fun loving I like to kid around and have a good time (no stick in the mud’s please). I love the out of doors and am a bit of an adventure seeker. I am a romantic at heart. I love music of all kinds but have a soft spot for Jazz and Big Band music. I love singing particularly hymns and have a strong soprano voice (this is surprising because I generally have a soft sensual voice). Yes I am part of the choir. I was a professional dancer in my youth. I had surgery on my leg in 2003 and I am not sure I am up to dancing any more but I am willing to give it a shot. The heart is still willing and wanting to dance. I am living in Australia now. Most mornings the Kookaburras wake me up with their laughing call or the kangaroos as they walk out of the bush to graze around the yard and under my bedroom window. You might want to know how many children does she have. Well I have given birth to 8 buried 2 raised one step child from the age of 4 until she left home and went out on her own. I have 5 grandchildren and one on the way. You might say well she doesn't look like a grandma, well I am. I wish I looked my age a bit more. It gets tiresome having 20 to 30 year olds hitting on you when you are 50. Yes I am looking forwards to the grey becoming more obvious. I suppose it doesn’t help that I don't act my age though. I refuse to act old even if I get old. I like to enjoy life. Because of my testimony of the gospel and my knowledge of eternal life I don't believe that age makes that big of a difference. I have always gotten along better with people older than my self. Hey maybe I am an older spirit. I want someone healthy that I can enjoy many years with here on earth. So even if you are 10 or 15 years my senior you might have a chance. I just don't like immature 20 or 30 something year olds who think they can teach me something about life and love. I enjoy getting down and dirty in the great out doors. I don't mind camping in a tent or sleeping out under the stars for a week or so. Yes I can build a proper fire, with or with out matches. I can also cook really well on it or in it's coals. I love gardening I would rather mow the yard than vacuum the house. I am comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt or dressing in a suit dress or gown looking sharp for a night out or in a business meeting. I also like dressing a bit off the beaten path. I like the clothes from the middle ages and have been known to dress as a noble or a wench. I used to belong to the SCA. I am an accomplished seamstress. I started sewing at the age of 5 yrs. I have made costumes since the age of 15 yrs. Worked as a professional artist and photographer since age 15 as well. Other talents are vast and diverse. From painting stage drops and preparing props to baking and decorating cakes (also professionally) to cutting hair. I like to enjoy life. I am comfortable with people from all ages and walks of life. I have been known to hop on the back of a motorcycle and travel up the coast. Or mingle in a crowd of movers and shakers. Put a backpack on my back and hike in where a car or truck could not go. Or dance as a go go dancer with a rock band. I have been a victim of an accident to teach a future paramedic or fire fighter how to treat a victim. Or taught a group of Boy Scouts anything from fire starting and cooking to archery and knots. I have had a great number of experiences in life and hope to have a great many more.
