While I am not saying anything negative about those serve and protect, just questioning limits and boundaries. I no longer see how the phrase innocent until proven guilty to be a true statement. Now the fight is on to prove one's innocence. |

Now the fight is on to prove one's innocence. innocent until proven guilty is proven in the courts. the cops don't have the power to prove that. and those that abuse the power get punished...just like that cop that pulled over the football player when he went to see his dying mother in law. they aren't above the law even if some cops think they are. but the cops areest people based on things but can't rule on guilt or innocence...that is for the courts. that's how the system is set up. |

Good thing I am not a schmuck  at least in my own eyes

true....sometimes the innocent get arrested but sometimes gets the guilty off the streets. kinda a double edge sword. unless they do the Judge Dred thing and make cops judges too...that's how it is. it's for the courts to decide guilt or innocence and for the courts to decide about bail as well
