:heart:Do you think some people sabotage their relationships because they don't know how to handle being in one?

Sabotage may not be a correct word here Mirror as the meaning is that you do it knowingly so may be we say ruin instead

Definitely. Not consciously though, at least not totally.

It's simple fear. Do it to them before they do it to you.

I wonder how many people simply don't realize that the heart-pounding, fevered pitch of new 'love' doesn't last? Wonder how many give up on a relationship before it has time to evolve into something richer, stronger and actually more intimate? Rather that ruining or sabotaging a relationship, I wonder if many are just unwilling to go beyond the 'I-must-be-with-you-or-I'll-die' stage to the 'I've-never-felt-more-comfortable/accepted/at home' stage? Maybe we've come to equate passion with that initial frenzy of feelings? Not a bad time in and of itself, but when that begins to dissipate, how many lose interest or become bored?
