I think usually we are giving the other person more credit and power than they deserve. Sometimes, the people we pick are just not all that bright, and dont know what to do with themselves, let alone us.

I have done things to get a girl to break up with me so I wouldn't have to break up with her. But, it's always been harmless things. For example, I once started jumping into every pile of dog poo I saw when I was with her with all the abandon of a child jumping on a sand castel. It was funny. She'd look at me as if I was from Mars.

Do you think some people sabotage their relationships because they don't know how to handle being in one?
Absolutely. Imma firm believer that people are the cause of their own demise, especially when it comes to relationships and other related matters. If people COULD handle being in a relationships, there'd be less drama and other crap to have to deal with as a result. It's also cut down on the head-games quite drastically. |
