They THINK they want you to rate them but when they get things that aren't positive or in their favor, they get defensive? Not sure, dont visit those threads for that exact reason. They ask for advice, but they really want you to tell them they are right. That irritates the hell out of me But what if they are asking something where they seemingly have not come to their own conclusion? I see it all the time in the rate me threads.

They're actually looking for people to agree with them- the whole "yes man" thing, if you will. If they were TRULY looking for advice, they wouldn't be arguing with those giving the advice.
