Topic: T or F? People who don't like to be judged... | |

If I say "true," am I not judging? Yes but were you quick to do so? |

People who don't like to be judged are the ones who are quick to judge others. T or F? I think it's true. I have also noticed people who comment on others grammar or spelling often have mistakes in their own sentences. Food is for digestion. We are such a silly lot aren't we? I say it's true and no one is perfect. Everyone makes some kind of mistakes in there life and i say live and let live. I hope you listen to what you say. |

I think your statement is true in many instances! I also think the need to express ones judgement has to do with ones own insecurity.
I find it hard to believe that a person could never judge another person. It's human nature. IMO! I, myself, try to keep my judgements to myself...unless pushed! |

It doesn't bother me overmuch when others judge me in a bad light...it's when I agree with them that it affects me...hopefully for the better.

I always finding myself asking curious as to why, what, etc., possessed that person to do what they did. Then I say to myself "I have no reason to judge that person at all." By saying this keeps myself from judging.

No1 and Justme, Judging someone while being considerate of their circumstances doesn't make it any less judgemental. It's human nature to judge. It's ones choice and arrogance that makes us be mean about it! |

If I say "true," am I not judging? We cannot help but place value judgments on everything/everyone we come in contact with. It is how we use and express this in the world and to others which makes us humane or not. |

We are all mirrors for one another ... sometimes we don't like the reflections we see ... is that the mirror's fault?

WHY would anyone WANT to TRY and JUDGE another???
Be them a stranger or a friend, the LABEL 'judge' is in it self to be augumentive in its nature. I will get-to-know- ANY person, and maybe come to call them a friend. And maybe find them not desirable to be my friend or them mine? But its not because I gave them a label or judgement based on anothers opinion or my own quick assertion that THEY WERE,,,,(anything) as I don't judge any person I seek to know THEM. NOT nick-name them or stereotype them in a group. |

It is how we use and express this in the world and to others which makes us humane or not. This is very true! For example, Lily, I hate it that people judge me because I am fat, but I judge people for my reasons, including being fat, by the way. The difference is that I do not choose or think I have the right to verbalize my disapproval in a hurtful way. And I suspect you are the same way! I think this is the point the OP is trying to make, anyway. |
