Topic: T or F? People who don't like to be judged... | |

People who don't like to be judged are the ones who are quick to judge others. T or F?
I think it's true. I have also noticed people who comment on others grammar or spelling often have mistakes in their own sentences. Food is for digestion. We are such a silly lot aren't we? |

Depends on the psyche. Is this a trick question??
In my experience I have found that God has a funny sense of humour. The more I judge, the more I get a dose of humility by finding myself in the position of the ones I've judged. Thanks, God!! |

I think in some cases this is true and in some cases not. Can you be a little more specific?

Not necessarily true. There are no absolutes.
However, we often see things in others we are not happy or comfortable about in ourselves. For some, it is much easier to attack another than to take personal inventory and start to make improvements that will benefit their life. |

People who don't like to be judged are the ones who are quick to judge others. T or F? I think there's an inherent problem with the question. Who "likes" to be judged? Pretty much nobody, right? Then, if nobody really likes it, the range of responses to being judged has little, if anything, to do with that specific preference -- it's just a response, one of many, across the board. And that range of responses, if not attributable to one's personal attitude (positive or negative) towards being judged, simply means some will be quick to judge others and some won't, regardless. |

I see your point but frequently people "who do not like to be judged" are those on the fringes of society. They live lifestyles or do things that the mainstream does not do or could possibly look down upon. They are pushed off into the corner and I contend (or at least throw out the suggestion) the result is judging others quickly. |

If I say "true," am I not judging?

I think it runs the gamut; people who are quick to judge bristle quickly when judged; people who make the most noise are the first to tell others to be quiet; the ones who post the most boring threads are the ones who say a thread is boring; the ones who talk the most always complain that other people talk too much..etc. Someone said something about not liking in others what you see in yourself.
