good deed for the day???

mine was;-

i went shopping today, and i saw a homeless man picking up nub ends of cigartees off the floor, i went up to him and said would you like some cigarettes, and he smiled, so i got 6 cigarettes out my box and gave them to him, he looked happy, smiled and said thankyou etc.

i felt so sorry for him, imagine all the germs on nub ends of cigarettes on dirty floors, that have been smoked by people who could any disease, i felt sorry for him.

so that was my good deed for the day.

well the fact is, he was picking them up off the floor, the floor is dirty, anyone with any disease could have smoked that ciggy, so at least what i gave him was clean. if i had gave him none, he would have carried on smoking regardless, but it would have been dirty nub ends on the floor.

when you do something nice for someone, theres always someone who throws it back at you.people like you piss me off.

he was a smoker, its not like i was giving a homelesss man ciagreetes who didnt smoke.

maybe she could of gave him a how to quit smokin booklet instead,..eh ? ya,..probably would have rolled his butts up in it and smoked it,..

well actually i had a 5 pound pound note in my purse, and i offered him that and he said no, he said he wanted the cigarettes and ive helped him enough.

wow when you get to the point you are picking them up off the street or turning down food when you know youre hungry..i think its time to quit!!

a cop let me go one time for no seat belt,.he laughed and said you just put it on didn`t you,..I started wearin it only because he was so nice about it,..( for awhile anyways,..)
