you didn't turn him into a smoker; but I would never buy or give cigarettes to anyone..why not just give them some arsenic? If they want to poison themselves fine, but I would not help someone kill himself. Forgive me but I can't see that as a "good deed". I know your intention was good, though. But no one should have cigarettes.

You are a real angel thanks, but why the ??? So nice of you to supply a homeless man with cancer sticks....a bit of irony there maybe she could of gave him a how to quit smokin booklet instead,..eh ? ya,..probably would have rolled his butts up in it and smoked it,.. probably would have, he didnt want the money for food, he said id done enough and he was very grateful. You should have really gone over the top and bought him a bottle of booze Then you could have deemed yourself a true sainte |

I was on the way home from my grandmothers funeral on Thursday...
I noticed an elderly lady broken down (in a Honda at that) on the side of the road, probably the same age as my grandmother. It took 15 minutes of my life to get her back on the road again and safely. I am certain my Grandmother had something to do with that |

you shouldnt judge just because hes homeless it doesnt make him alcoholic, i couldnt smell any booze on him at all. dont be so quick to judge Many homeless people are mentally ill. I am finding out now why that is, looking for options for my daughter. I was basically told that once she is an adult, I can let her live with me or put her on the streets. They tell me there are no other options for mentally ill adults. Sad.

There is definitely a huge gap in our health care system in this area. Some mentally challenged adults do reside in nursing homes or group homes, would that be an option for your daughter? I don't mean to be pry or be too personal, just inquiring. |
