[Many homeless people are mentally ill. I am finding out now why that is, looking for options for my daughter. I was basically told that once she is an adult, I can let her live with me or put her on the streets. They tell me there are no other options for mentally ill adults. Sad. There is definitely a huge gap in our health care system in this area. Some mentally challenged adults do reside in nursing homes or group homes, would that be an option for your daughter? I don't mean to be pry or be too personal, just inquiring. Anyway, I don't mean to hijack this thread. I will have to ask her which she believes is making the biggest difference, but know he's had some regular acupuncture and massage therapies. She tells me she'd didn't know what else to do with him, and saw many new studies showing huge benefits for various disorders and chemical imbalances in this kind of treatment in her internet searche for some options she'd not yet tried. ![]() It never hurts to give things a shot if there seem to be no straight answers. Wolf has me looking into a clinic near him for a shoulder injury that my Doc insists needs surgery, but cannot tell me exactly why. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
