I dated a guy who was 11 yrs younger than me. He was really intelligent and funny, but was still in the me me me phase. Could be his age, or just his personality, but it made me realize I need a real man who has been there, seen that, and is ready to share.  I can't take it anymore  
Sadly, when its a boss, you don't have the luxery to just walk away. 
As far as the other person, I think most of them do not care how they come across, because they are only interested in how they feel and what they want. They can be very funny and great to have around short term, but unless someone likes being a door mat, things can't progress. |

I get emails that go nowhere. They go like this: "I this & that..." "Oh, me too! How funny. Do you...?" "Yes, ... and so forth..." AND THEN THEY DISAPPEAR. It's not like I respond with, "The big cabbage boat in the lettuce patch." I don't get it. Those guys are looking for quick responses. They want something more than getting to know someone. The fast date drive thru!

I know I haven't been around much. I get here after you all are gone. My daughter is getting married July 18, so I have been busy with that. Hope you all are enjoying life!

Killed Lettuce

I grew up eating this, it is sooooo delicious. My StepFather has a friend who grew buttercrunch lettuce and onions in his garden this year so yesterday he brought home 2 big bags of lettuce and onions. So I made this with steaks on the grill. This would traditionally be served in the mountains w/Soup beans & corn bread. This is a traditional recipe from the Appalachia's. Ingredients 1/4 lb Sturdy leaf lettuce-(buttercrunch, romaine, watercress, arugula, spinach or dandelion greens) 2 Green onions; chopped finely 6 sl Bacon Salt and fresh ground pepper Instructions Killed Lettuce must be made right when its ready to serve. Wash lettuce, towel dry well, and tear into small pieces. Chop the onions finely and sprinkle over lettuce in glass bowl. Toss well. In a skillet, fry the bacon crisp. Turn off skillet, put bacon on paper towels to drain, and reserve bacon grease in skillet. Heat bacon grease until its very hot, but not smoking, Pour grease over lettuce and crumble bacon on top Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately. OMG I spent summers in the south, and we would go out to the garden and pick the lettuce and cook it this way..we called it wilted lettuce. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM brings back memories. |

some homemade Ice Cream sounds good ATM wow I haven't had homemade icecream for yrs n yrs. we used to sit and take turns turning the crank for the bestest peach icecream in the world. |

I was out making a delivery today and a guy driving an ice cream truck cut me off. I chased that sob for two miles trying to get him to pull over and sell me a choco taco. Those pakis can really drive when they want to. What the heck is a choco taco??? It's like a waffle cone shaped like a taco shell filled with ice cream and dipped in chocolate  yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
