Sounds great! I usually just make or buy an angel food cake, slice it into 3 sections and layer sweetened strawberries and fresh homemade whip cream, then frost the outside of the cake with left over whip cream. If you refrigerate it for about an hour, it melts in your mouth. cool whip,package of pudding,an crush pineapple,whisped together,makes a good healthy icing if you use fat free,an sugar free. Layer a angel food cake like that I love pineapple, thanks for the idea! |

Awesome news Treasa!!! Now we can pray for my daughter....she has been out of work and looking since October! Hi there Mary. I have been off work myself since December. I have been told so many times that I am over qualified. Sigh. I am ready to Dumb down my resume. That's just what my daughter says. She has sooooo many interviews but tell her she's over qualitified, say they are afraid she'll get bored and quit....she says she'll take ANYTHING, but they don't care! No they don't. Right now there are so many people looking for work, the employers can afford to be picky. sighhh

Been off pouting alittle. I spent the whole day in the yard digging and planting. When I looked at what I did, I really wondered how it took so long to do so little. I had a hard time getting back up the last time!
yup thats why I don't bother
lol, well my yard is a mess, and I have lived here 3 years now. My daughter bought alot of plants for me, so I have to get them in before they die. |

25 cent hamburgers at Carrolls. (There wasn't a Mcdonalds or Burger King yet in our town.
Riding our bicycles around the neighborhood until 11pm without worrying about being picked up by strangers. Walking a mile to school, up hill in a snow storm (sorry couldn't resist-but we actually did) kids spent hours outside, and playing in the park instead of on the computer or video games. |
