So Betty, I read that you did not like the wooden golfer that I picked out for you.....darn! 
I have been peeking at some of the posts even when I don't comment. Doing that gets me confused though. I read somewhere that Betty had a new man, then everyone was giving her men..like the wooden golfer. So comeon Betty, dishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

No, we bribe them with cheap candy....the good stuff we eat..
Last job I had..we did the same with the employees. We would buy cheap candy, and go out on the floor with it and pass it around. It kept the employees knowing we were thinking about them, and they were more willing to come talk to us about issues. |

Just popping in for a few minutes. Have lots to do tonight to get ready for my first day tomorrow. I am excited, yet scared. My son took me to the fair yesterday. Had a wonderful time. Did lots, watched lots, and ate lots
School starting? The store's were packed yesterday with mostly college kids here getting stuff for their dorms. Yeah, our school starts tomorrow. I will be Student Teaching until Christmas break. Awww that's great! We need more people who have the patience. I would probably be hiding under the desk with chocolate after the first 3 hours...

The scariest part is taking the Praxis test for No Child Left Behind....no pass, no license. I take that next month. Mary, you have the passion needed for that sort of thing. Good !!! do you know much a bout wine? The only thing I know about wine is...I like white better than red, I do not like dry wines, lambrusco can be ok if it is very cold, and if I drink too much I get a headache!

I agree that the younger person (male or female) thing is quite an ego lifter at first, but along with you, I would much rather be with someone my own age or a little older. We just have more connections and understandings about things.

I agree some people here play games and try to pretend to be something they aren't, but some people play that game out at the bars, or church, or or or...also. It's just the same no matter what. You have to weed out, and also maybe
get burned a few times to find out what the truth is. There are some wonderful people out there and on Mingles. Here, it's just easier to meet people from all over the world, and get to know them.
