We went to the movies and before we went in he had already gone to the grocery store and purchased two sandwiches and asked me to sneak them in by putting them in my purse,we go inside and he asked for the senior discount rate, and instead of getting a soda to drink he asked for two small cups of ice so that we could drink water so needless to say that was the end of that ,there is a point of being to cheap ,when i was invited out to the movies 
Next time, it sounds like you need to ask your date upfront if he's going to be paying for your food, rather than assuming. really? is that something you'd be comfortable asking someone? it's not like asking if there's going to be a meal on a flight somewhere. how's that conversation going to go? . . . |

i'm with the OP.
what a cheap @$$. yes movies are expensive. and the concessions are ridiculous, but if you can't afford it rent a movie and get a pizza. stay home and have a good night in. no, a date shouldn't be rated on how much money is spent, but let's be realistic. . . . |

i'm actually on my way there (DFW) next weekend. i'm sure most of the mingle ladies will be avoiding that area that weekend.

That really sucks. I had something similar happen. Things were going good and then BAM! "I've met somebody."

To actually fall in love? This question is mainly posed at the old timers here. Though, anyone is free to answer. Can you let go of your fear and just love like what you want to recieve? Can you put aside the heart ache of failed attempts? Do you got the balls to stand up to the plate again and risk striking out when you want a Homerun? It took me three years before I had the courage to just say "Screw it! Let's fall in love" I am so grateful that I took the chance and despite odds or distance, I found what everyone here is searching for.....love. Do you really plan on saying "F**kit...I do love you"? If not, no biggie cause I know that some of my very best friends are here.... But ask yourself this simple question....DO YOU WANT TO FALL IN LOVE? I am talking about the patience, work, compromise, empathy. Cause I know alot of people here can't see past thier past or thier ideals. I used to be one of them. Just curious.... Will you honestly give love a fighting shot or do you resist it. (I know the answer before I ask the question so, if I have talked to you for a while now...you better be honest or I will call you out) Do you have the guts? ya if it's legal we can watch the exit and spot the crappy lovers and know to stay AWAY from them come hook up time chances are you already stay away from them. hence them visiting the prostitute. maybe some people can't find someone physically attractive enough who's willing to sleep with them for free. maybe it has nothing to do with their sexual prowess. people visit prostitutes for many reasons. not all of those reasons require the person to be a deviant or someone who's sexually inadequate. . . . |

Watched Limitless last night. Predictable but entertaining. Watched Priest this morning. Felt like Judge Dredd meets Underworld or something. Mildly entertaining. Probably wouldn't watch it again. . . . Limitless was decent. My brother liked it more. I got headachy from some of the visual stuff. Haven't brought in Priest yet. They're doing another Underworld, did you hear?! :-) back to using kate beckinsale.
