In honesty, art galleries and coffee shops, car shows, that kind of stuff is my buisness. Your probably talking about looking for "special" girls to hang out more than buddies though huh?

I try not to be judgemental, but I'm sure there are at least 53 women on this site that would claim otherwise because they spend so much time reading between the lines of what I post that they don't actually absorb what I post. I guess I could be judgemental, I am very picky when it comes to women that I date, but other than that I think everyones cool as friends. I don't like hostile people though, hostile people are smelly.

So, being that this is obviously a post about finding a date I recommend the following (as it has worked for me in the past). Go to the coffee shop with your guitar and instead of sitting there by yourself the whole night, when you walk up to the counter to get another coffee, say hi to someone on the way.

I will say in your defense that at least you can admit some of the things dude was saying were true, but being that you're still picking I would assume that either you have another point to make on the matter or you are flirting with me. I prefer the second option but it probably isn't the case.

Okay, my first comment about generalizing. I'm going to assume that you're being serious about asking and not trying to be hateful, because I know that you're really sweet underneath, Txssun told me so. you said a good guy doesn't generalize. I'm interjecting a comment that says I think everyone generalizes. This was in fact in response to your comment but I don't see where I bashed YOU at all. I was just making a point, which your post seemed to throw to the forefront. I don't argue with people, I just make my point and sometimes use someone elses thread to feed off of for ideas. Everything I said could be copied into my little zen book as a quote and wouldn't offend anyone.

I didn't mean to single you out princess, and I'm not trying to bash you, I was making a blanket statement about how the human brain works and used that thread as an example.

Second, I guess you did sort of answer my question in a round about way, but the fact is that "most" people don't like being described as "most" anything b/c out kindergarden teachers were obsessed about telling us how unique we are blablabla, but the fact of the matter is that "most" people fall into a category in everyone elses head and "most" people have a million other people out there that have some of the same nuances and habits, otherwise there would be no need for professional sports. (speaking to everyone here, not just you). Maybe instead of fighting with guys when they make a stereotype about women try to understand their point a little bit. Chances are that they've met a lot more women and gotten to know them on a deeper level than a woman would. Women would have a better insight about the nuances of men. Again, in general. ,, and leaving gay and lesbian formulations right out of the equation to keep it simple for the moment.

All I'm saying, is that you can learn a lot when you look at things from a general point of view and try to figure them out instead of being on the defensive and defending yourself against a generalization that might not apply to you.
