Just a thought for the New Year--DO unto others as you would have others do unto you--why is it so hard for us (men and women alike-whatever you prefer) that when you move one after "chatting" with someone, seeming to have a good time, you can't be a big enough man to say it has been fun but I enjoy someones elses "chatting" more?? There is still a person behind those scars, it is up to you if you can see past them or not-if a person can't do that they most usually miss out on getting to know a great human being. How do I know of what I speak?? I have loved a burn victim for 8 years now,it was months after meeting him that he asked me "Why haven't you ever asked me about my scars??" For all of you hard to shop for people (myself included) might I suggest you have your gift giver to pick up the ticket for the person behind them in a fast food drive thru or in a restaurant pick up someone else's ticket, if they ask just wish them a Merry Christmas-makes a bright spot in someone elses day My sis did it today and the little couple was overwhelmed-made for the perfect gift for me

Just said Good-bye to a relationship of 10 years-
he has issues and I have issues but we were there for
each other for the 10 years, he needs to find peace with
himself as well as I and I knew the day would come and
tonite it came to be-- though very emotional we parted and
will always remain "hot" for each other but it is a relationship that will not ever come to be!
All I can do is wish him happiness when I know that is what he needs and get your last hugs and kisses before they go-if that is sad then it is sad but I got mine and now he is gone--
Like I said-it was a long time coming-

My parents have been married for 47 years and have always stayed close to home for Christmas because all my brothers and sister live close but Dad has always wanted to go "down home" for Christmas-2 years ago my sis and one of my brothers took them back home to a little country church with Santa and a "real" tree and presents for all the little ones-little did we know that would be our last Christmas with my brother and it was the best time for us all
