Sure they can. I consider myself to be very honest but find there are times when a lie comes in handy. When my mom far away calls and part of the conversation revolves around what I ate or am going to eat for dinner (there was reason for concern on this matter) and the truth is not a thing but the answer is salad and a small steak, well that makes her feel better and hurts no one. Or when a friend is excited about a date and has bought a new out fit and primped and asks how she looks? What good comes from telling her that the pants are terrible? She feels good and so also confident, pretty. Why ruin that with no time to change it. So do I lie about important things like how I feel about you or if I am threat to you in some way or anything 'real'? No I do not. But so called 'white' lies have a place and I don't believe we don't all tell them now and then. |

Talk? Ok. So, do you come here much? How is the weather there? So how was your Christmas? Did Santa visit you? What size shoe do you wear. Is your hair really that color? I bet you like scary movies. did someone ever pinch you and run? Do you ever see faces in the clouds? Do kids and pets like you? Do you have kids or pets? Are you married? Is he a noce guy? Were do you work? Do you like your job? It must be great. Dont you hate when people talk more than you. Dont you hate when you ask someone a question, and they go on forever?

I don't understand what you're trying to say. In how many ways has someone told you they Loved you? How many times have you thought Love ment something else. How many times have you just said it because someone else said it to you. Its just overused. So unless i feel that it really means the person has real affection for me, i just say it as a courtesy. Oh, I see. You say it even though you don't really mean it. |
