Why Do All....?

I'm confused....which number is it? The numbers actually went up WHILE I was typing that post because there were MORE "Why Do All Men....?" posts being posted during my typing! I felt it important to keep up with the actual numbers, as they occurred ("real time" being so much more interesting than last week's ocelot) to make a point, and to see if anybody noticed. Can you delve a bit further into the list because that is long list of "all men" stuff and you don't do any of it? You mean like "Why Do All Men Wear The Same Stinky Socks Five Days In A Row?" or "Why Do All Men Like My Cousin's Boobs Better Than They Like Mine....?" All I know about Ostriches is that it is associated with Ostracizing (I think) due to the fact that Mom lays the eggs on ground and Dad cares for them after hatching...I guess she "ostracizes them" IDK I don't think ostriches are actually from Earth at all, I mean, look at them. Other than an emu, a cassowary, and perhaps a rhea, there is nothing on Earth that looks very much like an ostrich. The late Carl Sagan once wrote that the best way to determine how to classify an animal was by comparing its DNA to that of other animals and looking for the closest match. Turns out that ostrich DNA is most similar to that of IKEA furniture. Something's not right. Real time numbers...I agree makes more sense. I think a Rhea comes the closest without a doubt. I have bought IKEA furniture before, I would have to agree with Carl Sagan. Regarding the "dirty socks" and "my cousins boobs are better" if you are not guilty of those sins you are a man of good character I would say. |

Why Do All....?

This just hit me -- I think I must have seen approximately 4,972,882 topics entitled "Why Do All Men....?" And I just realized that I have NEVER done ANY of the 4,972,993 things that "All Men" do....? How is this possible? Biologically speaking, I have to be male, because it says so on my driver's license, and those people are never wrong. They just don't know how to use a camera. But how can it be that "All Men" (using the word "all" to mean "all of them") do the same 4,975,034 things and I have yet to do any of them....? Have I been ostracized? (I think that means being turned into an ostrich, but I'm not sure.) Or could it be that someo of the 4,981,244 blanket statement threads are simply inaccurate....? Nahhhhh.... I'm confused....which number is it? Can you delve a bit further into the list because that is long list of "all men" stuff and you don't do any of it? All I know about Ostriches is that it is associated with Ostracizing (I think) due to the fact that Mom lays the eggs on ground and Dad cares for them after hatching...I guess she "ostracizes them" IDK |

...but i have a question: when you love a person... and that person says he/she needs time from the relationship because they are going through some things they want to sort out alone... do you get offended by that? do you cease to call or care about them during the time that they are not your bf/gf? what do you do? (i'd especially like to hear it from a male point of view but anyone is welcome to offer input here) My question is how long have you been together? Aside from that, what else can you do? You can't force a relationship so give some space. If you feel the need to let that person know that you will wait while they sort through their issues, I would find out if the "wait time" involves dating others. Guage how you feel about that. If you're ok with that then date..if not of course it is up to you. It is what it is. I would suggest giving that person space because the phrase "you never know what you have til it's gone" comes to mind. Good luck and remember everything happens for a reason. |

And what is it about big women that turn a man off?
Shows a lack of responsibility and care about your health. You don't realize how big America really is until you visit South Korea. Really...lack of responsibility, can you say stereotype? |

First off, I do have to ask... have you ever waited for something in your life? I mean I understand when you do want something, you want it, but when it comes to being intimate with your woman, doesn't the wait make it better? I don't know, I honestly don't, I was always taught that patience and honesty is a virtue. Good things are worth waiting for. And finally being in a relationship is being in a relationship, which means NOT doing anything with anyone else. No matter how bad you want the sweet lovin. No matter how good she looks. No matter how much she throws herself at you. I dunno, if I am wrong, please let me know, I honestly don't mean to sound rude, but half of what I say ends up making me sound like a jerk so take it as ya want. Yea...what he said! |

My love for my sons is.. I learned unconditional love and forgiveness from them, not my own mother. My mom hates me I'm so sorry for you, I am familiar with that as well. |

If there is something that one can do to improve ones self image or be more appealing to ones spouse....it is your duty to do everything you can to meet those goals. Letting ones self go to pot is inexcusable. I dealt with this issue with my Mom....Dad asked her to start trying to exercise...her response..."I am married..I don't have to try anymore. He should love me no matter what I look like" In my opinion...that is lazy BS and completely inconsiderate. If someone wants to improve thier looks....good for them. I agree, just because you "have someone" doesn't mean you are in the clear. It isn't ok to just give up taking care of yourself unless there is some physical reason, even then there is usually something you can do. If nothing else, you have a responsibility to care for your own health for your significant other. |

Or is that simply a line we feed to ourselves and others to make people feel better, give them false sense of hope? Is it just as likely some are condemned to live a life alone either by themselves or a higher power as some sort of punishment for past actions? I am on the fence on this one. I suppose a sense of hope, even a false one, is better than no hope at all. I think there is more than "someone for everyone" but it is a matter of being open minded. It may be in direct proportion to a persons requirements. Some have more strict guidelines I.E. looks, money, race...IDK just examples. I'm not saying people should lower their morals/beliefs. I do know women that won't date bald men, or men who have a certain "body type" they want in their woman. As far as being punished by a higher power...who? If you are referring to a Christian belief, there is no punishment. In fact it is said that we are on earth to enjoy each other and be happy. To have love. Have hope, be happy and encouraged. Good luck. |

There's a thin line between spanking and abuse A little spanking once in awhile Or out right hitting? Right, I totally agree. |

What about unconditional love between a mother and an adopted child? Do you think it is possible or never really exists? I think it is quite possible. I worked with a young autistic boy who was adopted from Russia. His parents were amazing and fought hard to provide their son with every resource available to develop his social skills, verbal etc. It wasn't just about that though, even though there were days when you could see the exhaustion on their faces, their eyes would light up when they saw him. It made my heart smile. |

Potty Training

An important part of reinforcement is "catching" them in the morning first things and then praise. Try to make sure you take her to the potty regularly, perhaps every hour or so. If you notice a pattern over a number of days when she potties in her pullup make note of those time and take her before that time.

In some respects I suppose it is possible. I have always had the tendancy to over protect my children. IDK if that is loving too much. It is about balance of course and letting them spread their wings and catching them when/if they fall. As some posts point out there are ways of stifling our children "loving" them.

She is really rude to my friends and wants to be where i'am 24/7 geez! See, I don't see that as "psycho". Clingy and snippy yeah, but psycho no. To me, psycho is chasing you around the house with a butcher knife while screaming at the voices in her head to just shut up!!!! Perhaps that's just me, lol. Or saying she wants to buy a gun... |
