Topic: He bailed on me.... | |
---|---|
The guy I was seeing bailed on me. My 10 yr old was admitted for suicidal thoughts on Wed. and she just got discharged Friday. I'm a mess...He said he loved me and wanted to marry me, but when life got tough.....HE BAILED!!!

Focus on your 10 year old now... she needs you more than you need the guy who bailed. It will work out eventually for you...but you only get once chance to raise a great kid!

Sorry to hear that. Nothing like bailing at a critical time in your life, when you could have used his support the most.

Sugar, your better off w/o the jerk, he would have bailed some time, he just showed his true colors.

Thats just plain retarded. Forget about him and keep moving one step forward at a time. Sounds like the guy has some soul searching to do, and even some growing up. If you're an adult about things you stick with your problems no matter how hard it gets. Don't just drop everything. You keep putting one foot ahead of the other. Don't worry, you'll find what you need sooner or later, trust me.

thanks. Intellectually I know all of this. I'm a counselor for goodness sake. It's just hard when it's you. My daughters are my number one priority... I think that's his problem.

it is the truest test of character how they respond in adversity
i hope you will find one soon who will know how to support know how to love she needs you now and forever. you need to be rid of him the sooner the better |

Don't worry about him.. If he was meant to be in your life, he would be there now for you.. Take care of yourself and your child..She needs you now..(I just spent a couple of days with my daughter(she's 42)because they had 3 deaths in the family within a short time and she also had surgery..She needed some hugs from her mommy) They are never to old to worry about or give hugs too...

God show you that is not the one who you can count with, and trust when the hard moments come in to your life .Be happy that you see it now , focus in to your child .She will give you more power then anybody else.God bless you and your kid . Hard to see how the ones you love turn they back on you . |

I'm a mess...He said he loved me and wanted to marry me, but when life got tough.....HE BAILED!!! I feel for ya, but I'm more concerned about your daughter. You should be too. **** the scumbag(figuratively) and cosentrate on her. Who will be there longer? (Hopefully) Forgive my spelling. Aaagghh. I say hopefully because if she contemplated about that she needs special attention. Attention only you can give her. She NEEDS a friend. |
