I can't believe so many people agree with me on: nanners, liver, peas, okra & lima beans... ![]() 7 years old..on "vacation"...me, the youngest of 5 kids cooped up in a Rambler station wagon...flat tire, no spare...middle of the New Mexico desert...120 degrees in the car. My sisters forced like a half a jar of near bubbling hot mayonaisse down my throat. I agree, condiment of Satan. And I don't mean that in a good way. But liver...mmmmmmm. Calf, cow, chicken doesn't matter. mmmmm mmmmm |

There is ONE thing I could never eat. My girl was from South Louisiana, the most beautiful women in the world...who'll chop your head off in a heartbeat anyway. I walked in my house once and said "What in the HELL is that smell??? You boiling dirty socks in here??". OK, that was a dire mistake...but thats not my point. It was TRIPE!!! Like the lining from a cows guts or something. And yes, it DOES look as bad as it sounds.
Not very palatable to me and I NEVER ate it! I couldn't get close enough to determine the texture cause it was nasty and also cause she had knives nearby. But I'm relatively sure I'd eat the snot outta my own nose (not yours) before I'd eat that. ![]() Oh man...I'm not hungry anymore. Sorry. |

I don't like coconut and banana's because I don't like the textures. What do you not like to eat because of the texture? Then I guess.... Dammit...forget it. I can't even go there! ![]() I can eat anything that don't eat me first...and some things that would if they could. Oh wait..and some that did. ![]() Oh please go there ![]() You don't understand. I CAN'T go there...not that I wouldn't given half a chance. lol I'm fairy certain that I'm on the mods s4i+ list already, among a few others in here. And as much as I dislike conformity, I kinda like the forums here. And, just so you know, I have restrained myself (no fun at all!) 100 times for every one time that I speak out. But peoples! I'm ALWAYS laughing! You just can't hear me from there! So sorry, just use your vivid imagination and maybe a mouth full of.....dammit. Can't go there! |

When my brother and I were young, we fought a lot. Once when I was about 15 my bro and I were into it...fist city. My dad gets between us and I stop. But my brother jumped around him and I took a swing. He ducked and I hit my poor ole dad right between the eyes and broke his glasses right on the nose-piece.
I always guessed he did it just to punish us with embarrassment, but he took some snotty looking yellow-green epoxy and glued them with a gob of it right in the middle. Wore em for a LONG time after that. Thats the last time I ever didnt stop when he said stop. |

I've been SO lucky with mine. I got my first pair in 2005 and still have the same ones. I've lost them once or twice but they really weren't lost, just set down where I could not see em.
I bought the rather expensive ones with the unbreakable Nitinol frames and transitions lenses so I probably have just been extra careful with them. Too cheap to go that route again and will probably go with the big black military style after these finally dont work or get lost/broken. |

it's a surreal feeling holding a severed hand, leg or a head by the hair for sure........it detatches you, and grabs you at the same time, and picking up the head is hard, for you don't wanna do it by the hair, for dis-respect, but they're too slippery to not hold it up by the hair with at least one hand on the jaw that will hang open (dammit) and to think we live for at least a coherent 15 seconds afterwards, proven by a victim of the french revolution scientist that was be-headed, and his helper asked him questions and answers with eye movements until he faded away.....way too surreal...accidents suck!!!! living burn victims are worse than body parts..... you can't pick em up....... ![]() ![]() Yep, my brains still working and I severed my....oh wait, I thought you said HAIR, not HEAD. Forget it! ![]() My bro got soaked in gasoline and lit up. We got him put out but when we pulled his shirt off to irrigate him, his skin came off his arms like a glove. He was in really bad pain and asking someone to "please knock him out". A cop shows up so I say "Hey, can I borrow your billy club a moment?". He was mad at me for years after that, calling me insensitive and stuff. I didn't even do it!! |

sorry about that still trying to work this site, that bike ride reminds me of a spingstine song, hungry hart Lot to be said for being on the open road. Lots more for "a place to rest" (home and people that love you). I mean...I assume. lol Got the home anyway. The only people that have known me long enough to love me are long dead. I'm making new friends though. In another 20 years or so, we'll be good to go. ![]() |

I used to own a computer company in the early 80s. Back in those days, it was near impossible to find anyone qualifed t help..ao I did it all myself. Sales, service, scheduling, inventory, billing, taxes, etc. Stressed out one day and decided to take a ride on my motorcycle. I just never stopped. I came home 4 years later and a little over 80 grand poorer. But I can believe I did that. Considering it right now. Wow! How 'bout just start with a 2-week vacation this time and see how that goes ![]() I'm still in that line of work and still doing it alone, but have learned to relax and that I can only help so many people at once. I'm a different person..entirely. And it (computer repairs/programming) gets a lot easier as time goes on. |

Mines not an elevator. Its a transporter. One moment Im staring blankly into space...then (transporter sound here, help me on this)...there she is. I FEEL like mine, if it were an elevator, has to be going up...although going down has its benefits too.

I consider someone a scammer if they're trying to get my money or something of value from me by playing me for a sucker. A small percentage, here especially I think.
But truthfulness is another matter entirely. I won't try to put a percentage on it because I couldn't possibly be accurate using only my own experience. But for MY experience online, about 2 out of 3 were not telling the entire truth. 1 was insane. I've not met anyone on this site so have no information. |

I've not seen one with Surprise in it since about 1990. The easiest way to prevent viruses/worms from getting into your system is to stay logged in under restricted user rights. NOT Administrator. Virii and worms always operate under the context of the logged in user. If you surf with an account that does not have rights to change system/startup files, and you don't open infected files under an account that has system rights, then you will never get infected. Of cource a good antivirus/antimalware program and regularly checking what is loaded at startup, and disallowing BHOs in your browser is always good in addition to the then good sense reccomendation of never opening attachments and never clicking OK on a modal dialog box that pops up while surfing. ALT-F4 it, don't even press close because the buttons are defined by the programmer and there can be code attached to the OnClose and BeforeClose events for that dialog that fre when the X is pressed. Very informative ... Uh~oh ... bet I'm in admin, dumbarse ... Will have to go look up BHO ...networking code? Not clicking X on pop~ups, BIG TIP, who knew!!??? More, more ... info appetite whetted! A BHO stands fr Browser Helper Object...like a tolbar add-on or media filter for IE. Myself and most other systems programmers call them Browser Hijacker Objects. They are application code that runs through your browser..so programmers can do basically whatever they want once you allow them to run. Also, pressing ALT-F4 will still trigger the BeforeClose and OnClose events for a modal dialog box in any programming language that I know of...in Windows OS. Best to ALT-F4 the IE application that called up the dialog box. YOu can get a few free tools to remove un-wanted BHOs. AutorunS from www.sysinternals.com. XP-AntiSpy is a great one that I use a lot. |

Thanks for the warning! I hate viruses like that, they are insanely easy to get even if your computer is up to date and you have a firewall 10 miles long. ![]() Shouldn't a firewall theoretically/figuratively run in a circle around your computer? I mean being ten miles long and electrical signal running the speed of light, ten mils ain't sh!t. So maybe a firewall should be ten miles in diameter, or tall, or thick. ![]() Anyhoo, thanx for the warning. Even though people don't even care enough about me to send me a virus, but thanx anyway. A firewall does nothing to prevent infection from viri/worms. And most firewalls can be defeated by an experienced hacker. ALL a firewall does is watch specific ports (there are 65535 for each interface) and allow/block applications from communicating on them or hackers scanning them from opening them for R/W. Lots of worms and virii manipulate firewalls to allow an app to "talk" on a specific port. Most do this above the physical network layer, routers being the exception, so are easy to defeat by...someone like me. lol |
