The bright computer screen
the darkness all around it may seem
another week, another day
a verse to write, another way to say

over and over these days go by
some with all my heart, some with just a sigh
friendships are absent, distraction so apparent
hold on to all the love, what has that meant

memories of moments of a surreal life
take to heart or take it in strife
let go, praise the Lord for what we gain
keep going, keep smiling to keep from going insane

just remember if true is what you search
don’t sit yourself to high on that pearch
come down from your soap box
and love everyone, from the top of your head to your socks..

The Mystery Beyond Love And Trust

Through the centuries, it's been clueless
As to the mysteries of love and trust,
How long will it last between two hearts
Before the relationship goes bust?
Too many questions unanswered
Or not enough questions asked,
But the question always remains the same
How long will love last?

Maybe it's best ,
maybe we aren't supposed to know

Just how far trust can go
& how deep a love will grow

Does an infant nursing at his Mama's breast ~
question her love or even begin to suggest
the absence of her devotion so precious & rare
Does he ask if she will always be there ?

maybe we are supposed to just kick back
cut ourselves & others plenty of slack ..
& savor all that is current & pleasant

relax and bask fully in the bright light
& the amazing blessings of the present

thankful for this particular moment in time
when someone comes with no rhythm or rhyme
yet shows us genuine love & tender care

The souls that meet in between the two of us
Maybe its about love, maybe this time about lust
From a friends love, to a lovers soul, unity together
last, living, loving, and seeking the forever

Maybe there is a truer love that we seek inside
something were afraid to fill, something we may hide
believing is a higher truer love just might be right
For the love of God, seems to be the truest insight

In the beginning this love was there.
genuine, forgiving, unconditional and fair.
so maybe there is an answer to never ending love
forever love may only come from our God above....

Thanks for sharing. My dating experience was brief, and I was unsure about the reality of it all/ it felt more like a set up. I understand about the frustration of hoping some of the people will be real, most of the time its a chance to write. In the single world expression to others is half the battle.

The key to online dating, is don't be offended its a computer until your on a date. Then its just a blind date, until they show up. Then from there for me it always seem like they know way too much. (smile) can't figure that one out.

I changed my name from sealove42 because of wierd problems, and I was hoping to be someone different. But, I can't lie very well and the people I did get along with I liked very much.

I have been a writer on this site, and it has allowed me to share poems that I hope reach someone soul. Otherwise, I think I have meet some sincere people here.
