dunno..we are a developing nation, economy is barely stable, inflation is out of control, unemployment is a given, only the very wealthy have private healthcare...everyone else uses public healthcare...and we are doing alright...you get sick, you go to your local neighborhood clinic where you are attended, at no cost, if you need further care you go to the hospital, where you are attended at no cost, or minimal fee...need to be hospitalized? No cost..want a private room? if you can afford it you pay for it....its really just that simple.
I really cant wrap my brain around all the negativity against public health care that you americans have...really, one wonders at your thought processes sometimes....

when it comes to gossip and secret keeping Ive never really seen a big difference between men and women...the difference seems to be in what and who they gossip about and what kind of secretes men and women keep.
I cant speak for a man anymore than a man can speak for me..and its a bit offensive to read men speaking as if they are the authority on ALL women... I have known men that were sneaky, lying sacks of poop...that doesnt mean all men are that way.... |

if youre talking about fashion..id say it takes a lot of guts for a woman to shave her head..I did several times in my life and was often surprised by the reactions of others...people make a lot of assumptions about you if you are a woman with a bald head...
i will say that as a result of shaving my head multiple times two things happened..one I went gray very, very early in life and two, my hair is fuller and thicker than when I was younger. |

I notice some profiles that state the lady is divorced and her kids live with the X. That does not bod well for my thoughts on her being a stable person to establish long term relationship with. Your thoughts? George I think based on your apriori judgemental viewpoint, those women are better off without you.

After being in a relationship for awhile sometimes it ends and the one ending it just wants to be friends. Is this something that always happens or is it unusual? Do relationships end with no friendship remaining at all? Does anyone have any advice or information to shed some light on this topic? friendship after a relationship....what for?? If you split up its for a reason..go your own way, if you can be civil towards each other thats great, especially if a child is involved..but really your relationship in that case is with the child... Personally, I dont persue a friendship once the relationship has ended...I dont see the point in it. |

went and heard a good lead tonite. they talked about what it was like when i came in the program.....you could still smoke in meetings and we used to have to clean ashtrays and we has real coffee cups and had to wash them every week.....ahhhh the good old days of AA it gave the newcomers something to do with their hands...

many cultures that place boys above girls have such practices, in the case of the poverty stricken the parents generally just leave the new-born girl-child out to die..is that any better???

the only reason I support it is because denying women combat duty limits their ability for promotions within the military.. frankly I look forward to the day when equality of the sexes isnt about women trying to do everything men do, but rather men doing everything women do instead....
It would also weaken our military. and gays dont?..if they lets gays on the front lines, women should be able to also...alot of the manly dikes are tougher than the womanly gays...
