I want to know what a co-worker thinks of me. He's very friendly and talks to me often. I hope you can let me know. Thanks very much! In what position is his work relationship to you? Are you his boss or is he yours? Who wields influence in the work environment or are you equals? I will need this information. JB We're sort of equals, he's higher up than I am but not my boss. I'm a receptionist and he is more of a reasearcher type. He's around 35 years old. I believe it is business related. He is checking out relationships and is probably aware of the underlying power structures that happen in a work environment. Your job puts you in touch with many people and a lot of information passes over your desk. It is always good to have friends and contacts in any business environment. Until and unless it becomes obvious to you that he is interested in dating you, assume that he respects you for what you might know and for what you might be able to do for him. Heighten your observation skills and pay attention to body language and you will learn a lot about him. JB This is very helpful. Thanks so much! |
