You ever go through a phase when everything gets you choked up? I guess this would be geared more towards the ladies...I can't say that i've cried over anything weird..I get choked up a lot when listening to music. I always cry when I watch Vanilla Sky. The funniest most ridiculous thing i've heard is a chick crying over a Campbells soup commercial. Vanilla Sky? The scene where they showed him his memory of walking with the woman was taken from the cover of a Dylan album- that really got to me and I never could watch that movie again. Everything about that movie makes me cry...its such a beautiful movie as well as story line. Which is saying a lot considering i prefer a nice gory horror B movie over "chick flicks" |

Thanks everyone!
What is ur mans thoughts on this? My husband and i agreed not to have children for three years after getting married and even how many we were going to have. But after two years i was right where u are now and we rethought it and decided to try. He isn't ready to have them yet. We've talked about it already...so I can't do anything more than respect his wishes and like said...attempt to curb my feelings. Well you have your sexual outlet because your brain is screaming SPAWN SPAWN SPAWN so have lots of protected sex. And baby sit for friends who are single and want to go out on dates, etc. for free. You will have no shortage. A few hours with an actually screaming child seems to stop it for awhile. OH and ex sister in law waited until her late 30s and cannot have a child now. He offered her anything to compensate so now she drives a Cadillac. I've been raising kids since i was a teen so i know how it is to have a screaming baby around...my nephew was the whinniest kid EVER. I also wanted to tie his ears to his shoe laces when he got older and into his "creation phase" Ugghhh..But yea..I'm kind of afraid that may happen too, that i wait and then find out i waited too long and cant have them. I'm not sure about the cadillac part but a tiny island of my own will do. |

I took in this fern (at least i think its a fern) because the owner left him, also left a note stating that they didn't know how to the care of it and needed someone to bring him back to life. So naturally i took him...and it seems like the second i took him he went from bad to worse...i've never had much of a green thumb but i believe that i have been everything to try to revive him but he just keeps getting worse :(
I repotted him because the pot he was in was too small...added more soil obviously because he was repotted into a bigger pot. We bought plant food and give it to him maybe once every few days, i put in a little over a cup of water every other day or so...sometimes i skip days because the soil still seems wet. Before i was only giving him about a cup of water but the soil seemed to be drying out a lot quicker so i started giving a little more. I've moved him from our giant window to beside the curtains thinking maybe he was getting too much sun..then he started getting much much worse so i moved him back to where he was in front of the window. I try to spray him down with a water bottle too...someone help me! He's my first plant i've ever had and i don't want him to die P.S. I keep referring to my plant as he because it is a he...and his name is Floyd....Please help me and Floyd |

< ---- Caramex all the way until my man decided he hated the taste of it... so now I'm a Beeswax gal. -sigh the things we do for men...pfffttt Carmex is the best though. He doesn't know what he's missing. You should work on converting him before it's too late. I know right? I looove the way it makes my lips feel...I will admit it does taste like poo though. Well, I haven't tried any other lip balm. I'm kinda afraid to. lol I tried the Burt`s Bees,,,,and it was friggin hard, like rubbing a wax candle on my lips, lol. Maybe it was old, or something. Thats what i use now..I dont like it as much as the carmex but the ball n chain requested to use that since apparently it tastes better. LoL |

I picked the engineer husband and owning a small zoo over children. My ex did NOT want children EVER. So I took the road less traveled. By the time I was single again, I was 39. I felt it was too late to have kids and then god for sure took away that option with a full hysterectomy. I enjoy boyfriends and friend friends who have grandkids. Helping pick out gifts and such. But I took care of my nephew every day at 11 years old (me) for a year and half after school. I baby sate my brains out. I taught at a summer camp of all boys. I had a good grip on what it takes to take care of a child and I never dissuaded myself into thinking I was "made of the right stuff". I raised a small zoo instead and gardened my brains out to fulfill my nurturing needs driven by hormones. I have had a pet almost everything. Someone said that you need a solid foundation for kids. OH HECK YES. I say there is nothing sadder than an unwanted child and nothing cooler than one that is dreamed about and becomes a reality. I knew girls (women do not pull this) who tricked guys into having babies. NOT my thing. That never works out. It's cruel to the guy and the child. I knew my ex did NOT want a child. He would have dealt with it if I had one. But he did not WANT one. I think mutual WANT and dedication is the most important thing. When I had my hysterectomy last year, I had never had a single pregnancy. I realized that one day and was so proud of that. I felt like it was an accomplishment that I had achieved. I do not believe in abortion as a personal choice for MYSELF and I did not want a child. I felt like HOT DARN, I did it I made it to the end of the game without every getting preggers. I really did feel like I had graduated from uterus university with a 4.0. That is pretty awesome..I think my feelings have been intense lately simply because i have been super emotional (bleh..stupid estrogen) I would never trick my man into having kids though, in some cases men automatically THINK that you tricked them when thats anything but true so sometimes its a no win situation but i wouldnt do that to him. I guess it'll happen when it's suppose to, in the meantime still trying to figure out ways to curb these feelings. -sigh |

No cold sores, hence, no Carmex! Really love the Victoria`s Secret glosses,,,they don`t make my lipstick bleed & they taste soooo good How is that btw? I was tempted to pick some up yesterday when i went to V Secret but i was afraid that it would dry out my lips. I have to be careful what i use cause i found that a lot of lip gloss along with lipsticks dry my lips out oddly enough. |

You ever felt unappreciated at work? I feel that way all the time. I am a 911 dispatcher and I feel like a lot of dispatchers are uinappreciated. We are behind the scenes but we still have a very large part in emergency management. The job is super stressful and the hours can really suck.....I'm feeling...blah. -sigh I've only had to use 911 once, but I sure do appreciate how helpful that dispatcher was in sending help as quick as possible. You may be behind the scenes, but you still have an important job to perform, and lives depend on getting calls dispatched as quick as possible. Until then I never really gave much thought to 911 or anything, but it made me feel a little safer knowing that help is available when I need it. Thank you |

I'm also worried about other things too though...as far as actually carrying the child it is more difficult for a woman as she gets older. I also agree with Josie...I want to be able to connect well with my children and sometimes (SOMETIMES) age difference prevents that. Perhaps I am being silly...or maybe i'm just going through my "woman crisis thing" i just know that at this point i want children, i almost feel a void in my heart right now. Meh.

I feel that I can provide and most certainly love my child without a doubt. I have been raising children since I was a teenager so it wouldnt be a situation that I am totally unfamiliar with. I dont think its just about age for me...I truly want one of my own. Idk..
