I understand rich people being republicans they make more money that way . its the working class that charges my mind . they make less working for them they don't live as well , small houses crappy lawns small yards and always having to say mr to the pig . he knows when his love is ug because the boss doesn't do her . and of course his rug rats can't get out either because repubs don't think workers need to go to school because there only so many people who can be boss and what does the pissons need an ed for . theres just no need for them to be educated ..
I'm sorry I don't know anyone that voted for him . but i do think hes a better choice than MCCAIN was .

Actually I liked McCain for 2000...too bad Karl Rove swiftboated him in the SC primaries...McCain was no hard core neocon with a hard on for war like the Dippic turned out to be, so he was washed aside. If McCain had gotten the nomination he'd not have had the support from the criminals who fixed the Florida election...thus would have probably lost then as well.

In a way I think McCain knew he was not up for that job this time...if he had been he'd not allowed Palin on the ticket...now THAT was their biggest mistake...or was it his great hope and his final relief...who'd want to continue the GOP's disasterous reign? Not him.

Interesting little dilemna there about the USPS. They are considered a quasi-governmental agency of the executive branch. They claim to be an independent enterprise, yet there are are several indicators that would claim the contrary. It is, and it isn't. USPS is also considered a "monopoly" by many.

The Postal Act of 2006 required the PRC to submit a report to the President and Congress on universal postal service and the postal monopoly in December 2008. The report must include any recommended changes. The Postal Service report supports the requirement that the PRC is to consult with and solicit written comments from the Postal Service. In addition, the Government Accountability Office is required to evaluate broader business model issues by 2011.

True, my mom is retired USPS,, she gets a GOVERNMENT pension.

So what?

Chavez was elected THREE times in a Federal Republic.

Whatever that has to do with anything........but since you fail (intentionally?) to explain to the post readers what a Federal Republic is:

https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbo

This entry gives the basic form of government. Definitions of the major governmental terms are as follows. (Note that for some countries more than one definition applies.): I have omitted many forms as they are lengthy and irrelevant to this matter.

Venezuela:
Federal republic - a state in which the powers of the central government are restricted and in which the component parts (states, colonies, or provinces) retain a degree of self-government; ultimate sovereign power rests with the voters who chose their governmental representatives.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:
Republic - a representative democracy in which the people's elected deputies (representatives), not the people themselves, vote on legislation. (ELECTED DEPUTIES [REPRESENTATIVES] VOTE ON LEGISLATION)

"I pledge allegience to the Flag of the United States of American, and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

OTHERS APPLICABLE TO THE USA:
Commonwealth - a nation, state, or other political entity founded on law and united by a compact of the people for the common good. Several states remain a Commonwealth, my state of Pennsylvania being such....it is a Commonwealth.

Constitutional - a government by or operating under an authoritative document (constitution) that sets forth the system of fundamental laws and principles that determines the nature, functions, and limits of that government.

Constitutional democracy - a form of government in which the sovereign power of the people is spelled out in a governing constitution.

OTHER COUNTRIES CONTINUED:

Dictatorship - a form of government in which a ruler or small clique wield absolute power (not restricted by a constitution or laws). Hugo baby is attempting to bring this about.

Socialism - a government in which the means of planning, producing, and distributing goods is controlled by a central government that theoretically seeks a more just and equitable distribution of property and labor; in actuality, most socialist governments have ended up being no more than dictatorships over workers by a ruling elite.
[Hmmmmmmmm sounds like obama.....especially the "dictatorships" secton.]

****************
ttps://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ve.html

VENEZUELA:
Political parties and leaders:
Field info displayed for all countries in alpha order.
A New Time or UNT [Omar BARBOZA]; Brave People's Alliance or ABP [Oscar PEREZ]; Christian Democrats or COPEI [Luis Ignacio PLANAS]; Communist Party of Venezuela or PCV [Oscar FIGUERA]; Democratic Action or AD [Henry RAMOS Allup]; Fatherland for All or PPT [Jose ALBORNOZ]; For Social Democracy or PODEMOS [Ramon MARTINEZ]; Justice First [Julio BORGES]; Movement Toward Socialism or MAS [Felipe MUJICA]; United Socialist Party of Venezuela or PSUV [Hugo CHAVEZ]; Venezuela Project or PV [Henrique SALAS Romer]

"United Socialist Party of Venezuela or PSUV [Hugo CHAVEZ]"

"Mr Chavez has said he needs another 10 years for what he calls Venezuela's socialist revolution to take root." hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....no wonder Hugo baby likes obama........"birds of a feather flock together",as the saying goes......

You have to be pretty arrogant and stupid not to believe a terrorist would behead anyone who is their enemy. They kill women and children on a daily basis so I find it hard to believe they would find beheading a Jew or a Christian from the United states or Israel or anyone else who gets in their way morally objectionable.

Pictures say a little but videos show a whole lot more. You can watch the beheading from start to finish and draw your own conclusion.Video is very gruesome so watch at own risk.

please provide your proof of this occurring on an everyday basis.

You posted one correct photo of KSM..the second which may i add was taken after he was captured. You can clearly see the differences in the nose structure but more importantly, how could anyone grow a beard of that length and thickness in just a few years. The first is clearly that of Sheik bin Laden. btw if you're going to insinuate that just because i'm an arab muslim that i'm a terrorist go ahead and say my name instead of "someone on this thread".
thanks and peace

Photo purporting to show Khalid Sheik Mohammed in detention at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. (AP)

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed
By William Lee Adams, Eben Harrell and Tara Kelly Friday, Nov. 13, 2009

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is the self-proclaimed mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks. Born in Kuwait to parents from Pakistan, he has admitted, the Pentagon alleges, responsibility "from A to Z" for the attacks in New York City and Washington. In addition, Mohammed reportedly told a legal hearing that in 2002 he personally decapitated kidnapped U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl. Captured in Pakistan in March 2003, Mohammed has been subjected to harsh interrogation techniques during his questioning. He and four other alleged 9/11 plotters will now be transferred to the U.S. and tried in New York City.

PICTURES OF OSAMA BIN LADEN:

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO (2) MALES IS EXTREMELY OBVIOUS.

BUT...........WHAT REALLY DISTURBS ME IS THAT AN INDIVIDUAL ON THIS THREAD REFERS TO OSAMA BIN LADEN AS "OSAMA"................MAKES ONE WONDER IF THAT INDIVIDUAL IS CLOSELY RELATED IN SOME FORM OR FASHION TO BIN LADEN AS, IN GENERAL, PEOPLE ONLY REFER TO OTHER INDIVIDUALS BY THEIR FIRST NAME IF THEY ARE ON A SOMEWHAT FAMILIAR BASIS WITH THAT INDIVIDUAL...........

give Sean Penn the clap or a plutonium key chain?

First Amendment be damned . . . If Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn had his way, any journalist who called Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez a dictator would quickly find himself behind bars.

Penn, appearing on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" on Friday, defended Chavez during a segment in which he detailed his work with the JP Haitian Relief Organization, which he co-founded.

"Every day, this elected leader is called a dictator here, and we just accept it, and accept it" said Penn, winner of two Best Actor Academy Awards. "And this is mainstream media, who should -- truly, there should be a bar by which one goes to prison for these kinds of lies."

It was just the beginning of a busy weekend for Penn. When asked on CBS' "Sunday Morning" about those who question his motives for his humanitarian work in Haiti, he said:

"Do I hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer? Yeah. You know, but I'm not going to spend a lot of energy on it."

Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News' senior judicial analyst, said the same constitutional protection that applies to journalists also applies to Penn, who can say pretty much anything he wants in the "political arena" -- aside from an immediate incitement of violence.

"What he is saying is protected, as wacky and weird as it is," Napolitano told FoxNews.com. "But the substance of what he's saying would be absolutely contrary to the First Amendment, which fully protects all political opinions. So if a journalist says Dick Cheney should go to jail, the journalist is privileged to say that."

"Mr. Penn is calling for a communist-like regime in which journalists who criticize the government are sent to jail because of that criticism," Napolitano added. "That is utterly un-American and hasn't happened here since the Civil War."

Lis Wiehl, a former federal prosecutor and Fox News legal analyst, echoed Napolitano’s comments, saying Penn’s statement is "completely counter" to First Amendment protections.

"Unless you're yelling 'fire' in a crowded theatre, i.e. stirring up immediate violence, you have the right as an American to voice your opinion, even if others (including Penn) disagree," she wrote FoxNews.com. "And, yes, Penn has the right to voice his opinion as well -- that's the beauty of the First Amendment. And, don't forget, truth is an absolute defense to any defamation or slander lawsuit."

According to a study by the Business and Media Institute, news coverage pertaining to Chavez from 1998 to 2006 found the Venezuelan president's human rights record was mentioned in only 10 percent of stories, and he was described as a leftist in 12 percent of stories.

Napolitano, meanwhile, said Penn apparently prefers "thuggery" to democracy.

"In light of his ignorance of freedom of speech, his wishing rectal cancer on his detractors, and his embracing tyrants, Mr. Penn obviously prefers thuggery to democracy," he continued. "Were he free to do so, he'd be a tyrant. Now we'll see if he can get me jailed for saying that!"

I would be more than glad to pay for and give Penn a one way, permanent plane ticket to Venezuela............

And yes, Chavez is a dictator..........the entire world knows this.......and for those who do not know what the meaning of a dictator is in relation to a type of government leader, go back to school and learn............

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin -- who has gone to great lengths to hype the supposed dangers of a big government takeover of American health care -- admitted over the weekend that she used to get her treatment in Canada's single-payer system.

"We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada," Palin said in her first Canadian appearance since stepping down as governor of Alaska. "And I think now, isn't that ironic?"

The irony, one guesses, is that Palin now views Canada's health care system as revolting: with its government-run administration and 'death-panel'-like rationing. Clearly, however, she and her family once found it more alluring than, at the very least, the coverage available in rural Alaska. Up to the age of six, Palin lived in a remote town near the closest Canadian city, Whitehorse.

Officials at several hospitals in that area declined to give out information on patient visits.

laugh rofl

Wait! Canada will let me come there to get healthcare? WHY WASNT I TOLD!!!!????

YOU ARE NOW INFORMED............laugh laugh laugh

as for me..........I like living so I will stay in the good 'ol USA which provides the best health care in the WORLD!.............I CAN ATTEST TO THAT AS I JUST WON A YEAR LONG BATTLE AGAINST ENDODMETRIAL CANCER AND I WON, WON, WON! PTL FOREVER!flowerforyou

If I went to Canada I would still be waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting,(hummmm, I think I better ask my son if I told him where my my Will and POA is, that is if I go to Canada for any medical treatment.....LOL) and probably be deceased by now.......

YES, I can personally attest to the magnificent health care the USA offers...............flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

not true. i was visiting canada and suffered a knee injury and was seen right away. there are some long waiting periods yes but majority of the waiting time is for stuff you can actually wait for, not emergencies...and the boast that america has the best health care may be an opinion but also not a fact especially when every poll or ranking has the US listed at 37

actually, for CERTAIN types of cancer treatment, US does have the highest survival rate,,,but for OVERALL CARE,,,we fall extremely short

Well......do not know if you are speaking from personal experience, SUCH AS I AM.................and I am living proof that we have the best healthcare in the World........

Don't know why people want to knock the USA for everything......but again, everyone has the opportunity to go to another country for treatment, residential living, employment, etc.

AS FOR ME............GIVE ME THE USA.....LOVE MY COUNTRYflowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

I wasnt knocking the USA for everything, I was just posting about our healthcare. I also am not discounting your experience which might prove that we have the best CANCER care (for certain types of cancer) than any country but isnt definitive about care for all the OTHER issues that ail us at any given time.

WE spend way too much for what we get in return, basically. Although there are some AREAS where we have better research and funding than others, our overall system doesnt work very well.

According to the World Health ORganization,,,

We spend 6719 per capita on healthcare and our life expectancy is 78
We have (per 10,000 people) , 26 doctors, 91 nurses, 31 beds

UK spends 2815 per capita on healthcare and life expectancy is 80
They have (per 10,000) 23 doctors, 138 nurses and 29 beds

Japan spends 2581 per capita on healthcare and life expectancy is 83
They have (per 10,000) 21 doctors, 95 nurses and 140 beds

Italy spends 2631 per capita on healthcare and life expectancy is 82
They have (per 10,000) 37 doctors, 72 nurses and 39 beds

Germany spends 2815 per capita on healthcare, life expectancy is 80
They have (per 10,000) 34 doctors,80 nurses and 83 beds

France spends 3420 per capita on healthcare and life expectancy is 81
They have (per 10,000) 34 doctors, 80 nurses and 73 beds

Canada spends 3673 per capita on healthcare, life expectancy 81
They have (per 10,000) 19 doctors, 101 nurses and 34 beds

The way our healthcare stands, we are paying two to three times more than these other countries, but not living any longer or having any better resources (with the exception of specialized medicine such as cancer) for it. Our overall system needs serious change. Noone should be faced with losing their home or having life saving surgery in a country as rich as this...but thats just my opinion

Do not know where you got your information, Word Health Organization....whatever that is and where is the website?

NEVERTHELESS..............

flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou I LOVE THE USA..................AND IT HAS THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD........flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

AND YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GO TO ANOTHER COUNTRY TO GET HEALTH CARE AND TO RESIDE....................

i find this very uncredible a) it came from fox
B) either the poster or the article states the photo is that of khalid sheik mohammad when that's actually a photoshopped pic of bin laden
C) why should they get military trials with no rights when the military has a track record of locking away ppl with no evidence , we're not officially at war with anybody, and 9 11 if you actually believe terrorists were really involved but that's a whole other issue, was a CRIME not an act of war. should the military try americans that get speeding tickets too?
And please...daniel pearl? that video looks so fake and although the tragedy that he died is sad and i dont agree with it...he was still in a war zone tresspassing in another country...a white person has the right to stroll down harlem or compton but most don't right?
