I hate that people devote entire threads to it, like it's a majotr event we should all be aware of. Now, especially if you're the kind that's leaving because no one knows you exist... well. Yeah. Maybe it would be ok if you were doing it to let friends know you're not going to be forum-ing anymore... Maybe the people who aren't known think that if they attempt to leave, people will talk to them, so they can stay. It's a big trick those tricksters like to use. |

Oh Hell, gimmie a break, can't we all just get a long, really, I just love to throw in a joke or two or three... just over look me... sorry continue.. and that is fine to throw in a joke or two and just have fun with the people in the thread. it's just not good to throw the topic out all together just so another can begin. That also works, unless there is completely no hope for the thread. |

DOES IT REALLY MATTER ANYWAY?THEY BOTH CAN KILL YOU.AND IF YOUR NOT ABUSING IT THERE SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM. "And I think its gonna be a long long time, 'till touch down brings me around again to find, I'm not the man they think I am at home. Oh no no no. I'm a rocketman. Rocketman. burning on this fuse out here alone." |

What thread are you even talking about.. ? A few of my threads have turned into crap because of a few people who felt it was necessary to argue. I also see this in other serious threads. There is always going to be that immature individual, waiting to strike out at a thread, just because they can. It happens a lot. |

Have you ever woke up one morning and decided to ruin a post?
I know I haven't, but I am sure some of you have. Yes, any forum I go to is going to have this same problem. Yes, this service is free. Yes, we are free to speak our minds. And yes, we are free to do as we wish. Can't you at least show a little respect to a thread that is asking a question? We do not need any of your thoughts that have nothing to do with what the thread is asking or conveying. We do not need any arguments. If you wish to play around on threads or just have fun, or even if you want to argue a whole hell of a lot... take it to a thread that isn't as serious. There are many of us out here who try to understand each other, who try to connect with others based on their thoughts and ideas. And if you continue messing up a good thread, I am afraid I won't see very many writers anymore. That is depressing. |

Where in Fort Worth did u grow up? I am class of 93 from Southwest highschool. I actually grew up right outside of fort worth. the city limits were within 2 minutes of where I lived. i lived in a little city called Burleson. I am sure you have heard of it. It borders South Fort Worth. |

drugs affect different people differently but pot has medicinal purposes if not than why would doctors be able to prescribe it thats my main reasoning behind wanting to see it legalized i personally do not drink or smoke but if the demand for pot is so great why watch the profits go to other countries that will use the money against us as opposed to using the profits towards our own needs while also creating new jobs .you could still have a legal age limit like alcohol Plenty of drug money goes back to our economy. I hear people say how it has a medical use. Thats great. How many people that want to smoke pot have a medical use for it. Thats like me saying I smoke pot because it helps people with glaucoma yet I have no issues with my eyes.So how many people just want to get it approved for medical use so it's easier to score and get high.Granted noone that I'm aware of has stolen a car stereo for weed. I do see how hanging with people that first drink then smokes pot eventually somebody shows up with a 8 ball. I have no problem if someone is a recreational drug user. Getting drunk and stoned everyweekend is not a recreational user in book. Many people start out with the best intentions in the world, and then get caught up into the scene of drugs and alcohol. As a user you might think your habit or addiction is harmless and thats fine for you.Just don't tell people because they want no part of you that they are the ones that are messed up. you still are not getting the point. you are not comprehending what I am asking. This is not "Why Weed is Bad 101". If you want to keep going on about this, please take it to another thread. Your argument is a tired one. |

So many questions are asked on here that can be answered very simplily. This may not be the answer you are looking for, but it is my personal preference not to date anyone who does any type of illegal substance. My reasoning... I have dealt with alcoholics and drug users, I was married to one and I dated one. I do not think you should be upset, it is just as much your choice to do the drug as it is my choice not to put up with it by my significant other. In all honesty, I don't think that a relationship between you and someone who does not do it will work out. Eventually one of you will get tired of the others behavior, whether it is you who become tired of her nagging you to quit, or her just getting fed up with your usage. I hope that you dont take this the wrong way, I didn't mean anything to offend you, I was just stating my opinion! None taken. I appreciate what you've said. It is different with everybody. |

everything these days is bad for you in mass consumption. Look at all the young kids getting diabities cuz mom is too lazy to say no to the candybar or uses it to get her kid off her ass, or or or......you can make a case out of anything. This topic should have died a long time ago I was just trying to get some thoughts. Seems a lot of conversation broke out over something I did not intend on. |

Unless, of course, everyone was told to believe it was fact. And then, one day, some rebellious scientist decides to figure out the right answer No.Definition for fact
http://encarta.msn.com/dictionary_1861610193/fact.html?ENCMauth=5Lhav2K3v71iRl9zPMmLOoownYdySc9C8VPIg9avwmKH6DfIbgWLFu2tW6WVTxQkvraIeQLHoWs%3d
something known to be true: -something that can be shown to be true, to exist, or to have happened - truth or reality of something: the truth or actual existence of something, as opposed to the supposition of something or a belief about something When it really comes down to it, how are we to even know it's factual when we were not there to see that it was a fact to begin with? And if we never found out it was an actual fact, the only way we would know fact is by what others have told us. |

Once upon a time it was a fact the Earth was flat, once upon a time people thought that one element couldn't become another one, plants "ate" soil etc.
None of those were ever facts. Those were assumptions. Scientific study proved otherwise.
Unless, of course, everyone was told to believe it was fact. And then, one day, some rebellious scientist decides to figure out the right answer. History keeps repeating. |

Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
Excellent quote!
-Mark Twain I felt it was an essential for the topic. |
