I feel that the internet is a thousand times better than TV.
At least when I am on the internet, I am constantly researching new information.
And... the internet doesn't have commercials... just annoying pop-ups.

I was never a fan of Sebastian Bach.

Note: I know there are small bands out there that are revolutionizing the face of music.
Unfortunately, you'll never hear those great bands being played on the radio.

I agree, though. A lot of movies could do without the foul language.

This is not a blog about who plays what better or who sounds better. This blog is a simple, unbiased, intelligent look at music, and where it should go.

Music is on the decline. It's been this way for at least 10 years. And why? Music hasn't evolved. There doesn't seem to be anything new or interesting about music.

If you, the musician, are planning on really making an imprint on music's history, you have to evolve as a musician. You need to be able to work with many different sounds, and use those sounds to your advantage. If you plan to live a long life as a band or musician, talent alone won't save you. You need a variety of sound.

If you plan to sell out, go ahead. Sure, you will probably make it big and get loads of money but you won't change the face of music.

If you want to have a long life musically, don't be afraid to try new things. Also, don't rush your music. It helps to have some ideas but it also helps to "plant the seed" and allow it to grow naturally.
If you want to work with others, be sure that you are deeply connected with that person. If you are, you will be able to read each other flawlessly. So much so that you may come to realize that ideas just flow as you are creating music.

Do yourself a favor and don't be afraid to experiment.
We don't need another metal band... we don't need another punk band... we don't need another goth band... we don't need another country band... etc. You get the idea.

Make music because you love it. Don't make it just to sell.

I was lucky enough to see The Godfather trilogy about 3 or 4 years ago.

I loved the first two. In fact, the first one is my favorite movie of all time. The second was just as good. The third was flawed.

Anyway...

I can't see how people can't like this movie.
I dated a girl once who said that The Godfather was boring.

Everything about this movie was perfect.
It was visual poetry. Evwerything was there for a reason.

And it almost felt like you weren't actually watching actors.
It felt like you were watching a documentary on the life of a powerful mafia family.

So, who out there feels the same?

I posted a thread quite some time ago talking about the death of Jerry Jones.
This thread wasn't pointed at anyone who liked Jerry Jones.
It was more of a joke. A harmless joke.

Well, it seems that some people in here will file compaints about people based on a meaningless thread.
One example of this was a friend of mine calling a football team something that it wasn't. What she said wasn't offensive at all, and she was just having fun.
She had a complaint filed against her.

I understand if something completely offends you.
I also understand that my sense of humor is a bit different than others... but take it as a joke, and nothing else.

I don't care for sports. This is not to say that I don't like sports... I just don't spend any of my time watching it.
But come on... it's a silly joke.

If I honestly had a distaste for anything at all, including Jerry Jones or sports in general, I would probably not post it at all. If I did post something like that, it would be completely obvious that I really disliked what I was talking about.

I am not someone to make a hate thread that only consists of a paragraph.

Come on, people. Lighten up.

I never saw the whole thing... but what I did see was good.
It was also sad, so that's good too.
