Matchmaking Game - part 24

It's all wicked good! Have visited Bethel,Maine for an HIV/AIDS conference eons ago. No snow there at that time.. You should go there now... apparently some of them had snow days today!! WOAH.. SNOW DAYS?? Maine NEVER CLOSES school for snow! ::::::::::::::::faint::::::::: Haha! They do sometimes. Got an email from me mum that said they had 8-10 inches this morning and it's still coming down. That on top of all the ice they've had makes for snow day material. I miss the weather *sigh* |

Wait... is the safe call that thing where you tell a friend to call you at a specific time, and then you can either tell the guy it's an emergency and you have to leave, or let your friend know it's going alright? Or is this something a little different... I was confused.

If you can't get NEAR him, talk to her. Tell her you're happy to see they like each other, but that you're hurt you're being cut out. Just be friendly with her, and maybe she'll see you're not a threat. Suggest going out for some "girl time" even. I don't know.
Just a thought... Good luck! |

Oh grammar... spelling, I don't mind so much as long as it's close to what they're trying to say, and there aren't 80 of them in a 10 word sentance.
I think the one that gets me the most is "your" instead of "you're" I don't know why, it just bugs me. But YAY! |

Talk to your doctor about it. Sometimes if you're having unwanted side effects they'll switch you out to a new medication, and maybe that one will have fewer side effects.
Good luck, hope you feel better! |

Tell her that you like her, and value her companionship, but that you're used to being single. Tell her that you'd like to step it back down a bit, maybe do some things with a big group of others, and just chill and talk, and then see where it goes. Just keep it mostly friendly for a bit. If you find that you still don't want to be in a relationship then, tell her so.

Maybe she's nervous about dating. I know I am... I'm terrified of one on one meetings. Afraid of running out of things to say or making a terrible faux pas. I'd say, if she's still talking to you, she's probably still at least a little interested. Maybe she's interested in being friends, or maybe she's still testing the waters so to speak. Try suggesting an outing with a larger group of friends, out to dinner, or maybe to a club. That way, the pressure's not all on you two, and it's partially disguised as a "friend" thing. That way you can still get together and talk, maybe pull her to the side a bit, or do some dancing together, and figure things out a bit, but it's not as... nerve racking.
Just a suggestion. ^__^ Good luck! |

Maybe it's because, while they're single, they're still considering their options, and you might still be an option, even if they just consider you a friend. In that way, they want to keep the friendship open just in case. When they do get a boyfriend, it's a commitment that they make to that one other person, and it takes time to work on, and develop. So they have less time for all their other friends. Plus, now, not only are you not an option, they're afraid their boyfriend might get jelous if they hang out with you too much. Plus maybe they're just too awed by your presence and they feel unworthy... that might be something too she even stopped using her JSH account....i think it is the boy friend...punk ass ... soooo.... his ass has a mohawk? That's pretty frikken disturbing... But she probably stopped using her account because she considers it more of a "dating" site than a networking site, and since she has dates now... why does she need it? You should just send her an email or phone call or something saying that she's a great friend, but you miss hanging out/talking with her, and suggest getting together/talking sometime. Also, let her know that just because she's found a date doesn't mean that she can't use the site as an opportunity to find more friends. |

Guys who are huge body builders scare me.
Normal working out, fine whatever... but those people who have so much muscle that they can't bend their arm enough to touch their head... now that's scary... |
