I have enjoyed this thread so much, that what I missed yesterday I came back to check it out, it is wonderful all the things you all thought about while I was away. Remeber "Flicka" and "Sky KIng" and "Ed Sullivan", wow, and "Old Yeller". I remember the whole family looking forward to Ed Sullivan Show. awwwwww to all of the above... |

and wishing a Blessed Happy New Year to you as well, Ed... to the "Start of Something New" (which I just might have discovered, there's someone, from another site, been chatting to like crazy the past couple of days...but eh its new, so we're wait  (and um pray))

good afternoon everyone, (*thinking about getting a cappuccino, not in a coffee mood today
) its less than ten hours to the new year. I'm wishing a Blessed New Year to all...let it be the "Start of Something New" or the continuation of something good....I think I might have 'something new' going on...its way to early yet...but we've been talking a lot on here...um here I mean internet...I met him on another site, but we've been chatting it up on yahoo recently , traded phone numbers (hehehehe though we're both too nervous to talk on the phone yet), he's been sweet, old fashion and amazingly as dorky/geeky/nerdy as I am...LOL...
But aye tis new so we will see, I'm glad he seems to want to take it as slowly as I do...though its moving quicker than I think either of us thought. okay well anyhow... good things are happening all over...a possible job promotion, a possible... whom knows, and just a good feeling about life in general.
So again I wish you all a Happy Blessed New Year...and here's to hoping you are feeling the same way...positive about 2008.

Here's going way back.... Popsicles used to have two sticks and Mom would break the Popsicle in half so two kids could share one treat. That came from the Depression, BTW. (And I'm not old enough to remember first-hand, pundits!) hey i remember those Popsicles! actually i think they quit making them just a few years ago.atleast i think that's the last time i saw any okay so Ohio grocery stores must have not gotten out of the depression...we still have them here...I know for sure they were still around at least a couple of years ago...but I think my mom has a box of banana flavored ones in her freezer
