my mom and i did that to my first stepdad.......he was actually on his way to press bogus charges against my mom and we got wind of it (we knew it was only a matter of time before he started his old $h!t up again) and he came home to an empty house, but at least that time mom was able to get her van (first time he made us leave with absolutely NOTHING...threatened to kill both of us...why momma went back i'll never know)

actually had that happen to me, and i was stupid enough to take him back BOTH times he left....

thankfully i got smart enough to leave his sorry butt.........but at least i had the nerve to tell him to his face that it was over and that i was moving back to my dad's....i was sick and tired of being homeless and having to beg to use a shower once a week (i guess that's why i take three showers a day now..... )

miss coco, i've been feeling the samw way, but i'm coping by doing what i love to do best (and that happens to be crocheting)

actually mapquest isn't all it's cracked up to be.....i sent a friend directions to my house from mapquest and it had her going nearly FIFTEEN miles out of the way..........would have be a lot easier and simpler to tell her to take the main highway and what road to turn off (the directions mentioned NOTHING about the main hwy)

And yet again, I am reminded of why I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo glad I dropped out of college....yeah, was going to become a high school Spanish teacher.........

i agree.......but i happen to be a victim of one of those "horror stories".............sooooooooooooooo yeah i'm gonna be EXTREMELY cautious.....but as for grammar and punctuation.....the english teacher i had in ninth grade (which is when nc students learn all that stuff) was a former college professor and thought we should just watch a bunch of movies....and take tests on them....




yeah i edited....not great at grammar,,,but i'm anal when it comes to spelling....even called the walking dictionary at home.

it's really bad when one has a major gambling problem..........about 15 years ago, my stepmom used to be in charge of paying the bills (and dad's child support payments).....she'd pay the bills and then keep the child support to play bingo.....dad found out when he was nearly arrested for non support.......and after stepma found out he knew....she hauled a$$ for six months...........until my dad signed up for club pogo.....she'd go to the bank (i have actually seen her do this) and take over 300 bucks out for bingo (happened every payday) and she's even swindled me out of 500 bucks (saying she's gonna pay me back and when i bring it up, she said that she shouldn't have to pay me back because she bought all the baby stuff.....i was pregnant at the time)

mainly the money fights i've seen (going from my own experience and my dad and his wife)


money is being spent when it should be saved, buying incredibly stupid things.....one thinking only they know how to handle money.

i've been crocheting for 9 years now, it's very relaxing......to me anyway, because it forces me to take my mind off of what is beothering me so bad and concentrate on the project

crochet project.....

depends on how crappy i'm feeling......but it's not really bad i'll drag out the current crochet i'm working (a california king-size blanket for my brother in his college colors)

can't take advil.....i finally found out about RedCross Toothache tho.....used it yesterday morning and no pain since......

that's why i always say, "i'm a two part deal....." (even now thos my daughter doesn't live with me)..........


then again, i usually let them meet my kid and see her reaction (she's a better judge of character than i am lol)

i'm usually so nervous i'm looking at the floor or my hands


maybe that's why i don't get a second date (even though i do tell the guy straight off that i'm nervous)
