Taught me how selfish an individual can be, how self centered, how manipulative, how shallow, how cruel. I have tortured myself this way too.  But I also firmly believe that things happen for a reason.
I am glad for the experience - it taught me to be strong in ways I didnt realize I was weak. Even though, sometimes, I am sorry for the cynicism I feel in myself, I know that happiness will eventually heal it. Now ... where did I leave that Mantra book ... Ah yes! Here it is ... Be Happy! All I have is wire hangers. And they make good radio antennas, and I have a couple of them keeping my car's muffler off the ground Ya get 1/2 out of 2, tomcat. Try again ... 
I've got one in the hall closet, keeping the vacuum cleaner hose off the floor. Ok ... 1 make-up point and another 1/2 for originality.

No, not dead but mortally wounded, Kept breathing by the remaining dented Knights and Ladies of exhausted hope living behind protective parapets built against the pretenders. The wound is not mortal ... It has forced chivalry to redefine itself. It is no longer generally expected (due to the break-down in polite society IMO) but a characteristic of the genteel. I agree with Lily ... If a gentleman is a gentleman, he will always BE chivalrous. If a lady is a lady, she will appreciate and reciprocate it. |

I still have some that someone in my family had bound together with worsted weight yarn - once upon a time, they were 'lingerie hangers'.

Hot dog stick for camping. Yes! I have made toast forks from them too - to make toasted bread (or s'mores) over the campfire.

Well , my grandmother took 8 of them and tied them together along the straight edge, fanned them out and hung plastic fruit on it. I still have the ugly thing. LOL Oh no! I'm so sorry .... You have my sympathy!

Those who dont employ dry cleaners (like myself) find it harder to hang on to these important household tools ..
I wonder where they disappear to? Any ideas? Could there be a demand in some other dimension that would explain disappearing household items? Like wire hangers ... and single socks ... ??? |

I have used them to beef up a hanging basket frame - and have built a few from wire hangers. Does anyone know what gauge that wire is? |

Back in the early 90's I used them to pull the zipper up on my wranglers!
