I was a member of plenty of fish for like 10 minutes, I agree it sucks hard. Okcupid is a crappy site, everyone looks and no one messages, kind of like here, except at least here you have the forums. I don't know why guys stalk the profile and never email. There's this guy who looks at my profile like every day and never mails me. Why?????

About the girl, I think it was partially the talking and partially her own problems, so I don't think you should really blame yourself.

The main concern for me is whether or not it's intended to be a fling or an actual relationship. If it's just about sex, I'd say go for it if they both want it. But for a lasting relationship, I just don't see it. Like others have pointed out, your priorities are too different at those ages. I'll be eager to learn how it went too.

I see that alot... lots of guys have pictures with the girls hand around them or on the shoulder...no girls just hands. Then what about the pictures of 2-3 guys and guess your supposed to intuit which one is on JSH... My worse tho' is the guys who just have to include on their main picture themselves holding a baby....is it supposed to show, "oh wow what a good daddy...ow wow he loves kids..oh wow he wants you to look at the kids not him"???  
I've wondered that too, about the baby pics, it has the opposite effect on me. |

It hurts to be rejected. I think that might be part of it, especially when you were nice to her. I was really nice to this guy and believed him when he told me he was interested in me, and then a little while ago he told me he was going to pursue something with a woman who has rejected him repeatedly- for 3 years, she even has a live-in bf but he won't take no for an answer, just hoping she will change her mind. Talk about hurt! I like you and you're rejecting me on the offchance she'll take you? BS!! So I know how you feel. Just be honest with the person you're going out with, it's not fair to date someone when you want someone else and the person you're dating wants you.
