Okay, here's the scenario- this guy has a gf, who never has time for him, so he met this girl online and they spend hours and hours together, talking about nothing. Every so often they engage in cam 2 cam "activity". Some would say this is emotional cheating and therefore wrong, however, they have never met and more than likely never will. Also, allegedly, emotional cheating is worse than the physical act, because of the feelings involved. My questions are these: do you think what these two do is wrong, and is emotional cheating worse than physical cheating?

I'm such a nerd, my idea of a great date would be hanging out in a bookstore! LOL But I love the old dinner and a movie standby, so I don't know. But coffee is great, too. I'd ask her what she wanted to do and play it by ear. Have fun!!!

I'm in kind of the same situation, I'm friends with a guy with a gf, and she's really bad for him and I really like him. And he knows it. But we're just friends, I figure it's up to him to decide who he wants to be with, I'm just there for him. If and when she gets tired of the bf, maybe she'll look around for you, but I wouldn't press it, friendships are more valuable. :)

Why are you single? Do you still believe in finding someone special that will take your breathe away? I've been asking myself this for quite some time. I've had two girlfriends thus far, neither for very long, and I really don't know why I went out with either of them in the first place. I just recently moved to Phoenix, from a small town, and I've met a few girls, asked a number of them out. All but one said yes (she had a boyfriend.) All of them that said yes, backed out at the last minute. I've been trying different dating sites for a few months now, so far I've had zero responses, one contact. Of course, on the 'trial' sites, where you can't actually talk to them, I get 'flirts' all the time. Haven't decided to drop the money to try it out, think it's likely a scam anyway. So, I wonder, is it me? Not sure how it can't be, though my friends say that the girls are crazy. As for whether I think I'll find the 'one,' I don't know. If I can't even find a temporary one, how can I find "the" one? I feel like giving up, to be honest. -Josiah Aww, don't give up. |

Well, I'm glad you had good luck with plentyoffish. It just looked creepy to me, and their forums suck, LOL. The craigslist where I live now is horrible. I used to live in Seattle and it was much better, but the one in Michigan, blechhh, no one is on!

Seriously, if it was a man that was 43 and the woman was 18...I think people would accept it more. Hey I personally wouldn't date someone that young, but if this is what they want...go for it!! I stop and think how would I feel if my son brought home a woman that was 44..only because he is 19!! Geesh I think I would be a little bit p!ssed off, BUT its his life and I can't control who he dates. All I know is she would be older then me..hmm I might have to kick some butt!! 
I agree that society accepts it more when it's older guy/younger woman. Just the way it is. |
