Just wondering if anyone has got into a serious relationship via online dating and what your views are? as i know a few people that have and some are married.

Yes, it lasted for a year too. But he lived an hour away and only getting to see each other 2 or 3 times a month was hard and he would get moody and not be able to talk about it. Turned out, the woman he had wanted to marry had died 6 months before we started talking and his mom a year before that. He really wasn't ready yet. That's why it didn't work out.

I should say it was also a different dating site too. And on a third one I met a great guy, interesting, articulate, intelligent. We talked for a few months before meeting. We went 3 or 4 times. But there was just no chemistry. I had no attraction for him at all. And I was really trying, because he was great. I would have liked to have remained friends, but I never heard from him again.

yeh i know people that have hooked up on here..luck i'd say, otherwise its not likely too especially if the two people live far away from eachother..but, u never know..good luck to ya

My cousin met her new husband on here, they were married in Nov. and seem very happy-Congrats whispersandwinks!!!!

If you give it time and arent too picky, you can meet some great people. but some people online just dont realize, this isnt a department store, where you have to get the perfect outfit.
You look for a good buy here, and get it altered. If it dont work out, you get rid of them at your next garage sale.

I didnt meet him on here...but i met him online....we dated for 3 years...he was from montana...and me..north dakota...after about 4 months of dating and only seeing each other twice he moved here....
