Greed?

How does being moderately rich and wanting to keep the money you earned, make you greedy? I don't think it does.
However, being uninformed, uneducated, perfectly able to work but depending on the government to support you then wanting to take more money from someone who has actually earned it - does! |

What you don't understand is how much ice there is now is not the issue, the issue is that when it melts, its melting earlier in the year and at faster rates and it is also freezing later in the year. Keep on listening to the Dennis Pragers, Sean Hannity's and Neil Bortz's as they all have science degrees. |

record amounts of polar ice this year. Think there's any chance that the tree-huggers will stop blaming oil, gas and coal producers for global warming?..........lol

Actually, as much wrong as I see happening in his tenure at the white house, meh I don't find fault in this. Americans need to learn that just because something is taboo here, doesn't mean it is in the rest of the world. Take nudity in europe as compared to here. I hope when it's my time to go, the booze and women flow freely!

Americans should be, and most are offended, by this administration and many others.

Like lil 9 year old Johnny can afford the machine that produces it. Your comment is the perfect example of what throws people into panic. Uh Peccy? how nice of you to chime in. 2500$ gets you a 3D printer, the same price a laser copy printer came out at first... Now we can land a Samsung laser for about 80$ You better educate yourself on this subject... and yes, start panicking too! |

Today, a little after 9AM, in honor of Rosa Parks, the Republican Party tweeted that racism is officially dead in America! Now on with the straight class warfare- the poor, the people who look and think differently. No wonder Karl Marx is still the most read economist. Now let the real work begin- stop food stamps, minimum wage, access to health-care, no funding for education, private prisons suing the government for not keeping them full, etc. strange, when you consider that Karl was the biggest Moocher in the Universe, and had absolutely no sense of personal Responsibility! That is why I enjoy Immanuel "Pussyfoot" Kant, have a hard time understanding all of his writing, but the guy was a prick after my own heart. |

Ritual, tradition, right of passage. That just goes with the wussification of people. When I went through airborne school and graduated we had a tradition of getting "blood wings" Where at graduation the jump masters would hold your winds to your chest and punch them in so they stuck to your chest. Then you had some whine and cry about it and they no longer do it. If you ask me it created a stronger bond of brotherhood between us. But hey what do I know. sounds pretty stupid Why? Then again if you haven't been through it I wouldn't expect you to understand. It was a time honored tradition. To me it gave me more of a sense of accomplishment. I agree with TJN, it's a time honored tradition you don't break. |

The link didn't point to the story or WND took it down, but if the OP is right, the boy's family will be able to go buy better insurance on their state exchange, and with the prohibition on pre-existing condition exclusions, they won't even face higher premiums than other families in their state, regardless of the cancer. |

I wish Obama could run again because he would get elected. Thank goodness we have Hillary running in 2014! As long as the majority of Americans are allowed to vote we will continue to have a democrat in office. |

Even if elected the house and senate are both filled with self serving people and will simply work around his singular efforts to change as no one person can actually change the carefully created gridlock that is based on collective socialism found in both house and senate. The majority will continue the status quo and the people will likely continue to believe that politicians have our best interests thouh they consistently demonstrate voting and acting to the conrary... the french have a delightful way of saying it "the more things change the more they stay the same" our body politic is institutionalized men and women acting to represent the deep pockets of lobbyists and their constituents and from this sadly there is no escape... Collective negotiations will trump individual effort each time....

First, House Democrats refused to apologize for Americans losing their health insurance as a result of a law they pushed through Congress. And now there's this:
Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat, told National Review Online today that instead of sending out cancellation letters, insurance companies should have told their customers that their coverage was about to get better. She said she wrote an amendment before the president's announcement that would require insurance companies to tell the truth. The cancellation notice was not the truth,” she says. It should have been: We intend to or expect to modify your insurance. She adds that cancellation is what happens when you don't pay your premium, or something has happened in the bad old days, but that's not what's happening here. A cancellation notice was the inappropriate document to send without notice, she continues. All they had to do is that, This is a notice to say that we're going to improve your insurance, not, in essence, eliminate your insurance. http://www.theblaze.com/blog/2013/11/15/dem-rep-says-insurance-cancellation-letters-are-lying-not-obama/ |
