Somebody emailed me (not from here) and wanted to talk to me. So she added me to her yahoo messenger and after talking to her for about 20 minutes, she said, she is worried, that I am not the person behind my pictures. I made a quick shot with my webcam and sent the picture to her, but she said, anybody can just dig up a picture. So I offered, that I will turn on my webcam, but then she vehemently opposed, that I might wanna show my private parts or something, either way she thinks that I am most likely just a fake person with 15 year old pictures, because the way I discuss things is more like a 50 year old, because 34 years olds "just don't talk like me".

So I asked, why what am I saying to make me sound older?

She says, and I'm not kidding

--- that I would be too smart to be just a 34 year old and just the way I chat is like an "old man" who is too nice".

Now she won't even reply me and shut me out, oh well..I don't know what to say, I can't believe that these were "faults" of mine and my pictures look fake.
frustrated frustrated

nah she was on the fence and just looking for excuses!!! Don't trip there millions more where she came from!

Spears? Wow, tough crowd! lol. At least I'm honest. I just find that taking care of myself is hard enough and I have no desire for children.

There is nothing wrong with that... it's your preference. However, with preferences it does limit your selection.

That's probably why most of us are still single... we have preferences which limits who we are attracted to... or willing to have as a part of our lives.

Ya, I totally realize that not wanting kids totally limits my search. That's what made leaving my soon to be ex-wife difficult. She didn't want kids either but had an obsession with animals. She literally has 20 some-odd cats! and a dog! See the problem? lol It was me or the animals and she chose the animals! lol

i would much rather have a kid then 20 cats and a dog!

well its unclear to me if you two have had sex or not? If so the guy is loony, if not maybe thats what he is trying to figure out?

I know I've been out of the game for a while, BUT back in the day, when a guy wanted sex he would ask a girl out, take her dinner, ply her with large amounts of alcohol and then make a move on her doorstep. Now, you are saying, that they ask if you will webcam with them to see if you are willing to have sex? what

nah.... not at all but some guys cant handle rejection and maybe he was testing the water? I don't know but you know do what you think is best but speculation is kinds unfair i think? Have to be careful though and you have to trust your gut!

Of course you can be anyone you want online!
Some of these do gooders should maybe take some lessons in kindness...JMO

Aahh dont fall for it sweetie! I have dated so many women in the last year and most of them have an act of innosence and it's all crap! "Your the first guy i ever had a one night stand with". "Your the first guy i ever slept with so fast". On and on....it's all an act thinking men have a built in date meter before sex that calculates if she is a keeper or not.whoa

Okay, so I find an old friend on FB about 2 months ago. We chat and he asks me out. We finally go out about 1 month ago and have a nice time. We text and email regularly. He doesn't ask me out again but since he's initiating the conversations I figure he's interested. So, I ask him out. He's busy and can't go out. So I let it go. But, he's still initiating text and email conversations but doesn't ask me out.

At this point I'm thinking, okay, we are just friends and this isn't going anywhere which is fine. Then the other night he asks me if I have webcam and makes a suggestive remark about us webcamming. At first I think he's joking but he's not. And, I'm thinking "you live 30 f***ing minutes from me and you want to WEBCAM???" WTF? Anyway, I said "NO" (because I don't do that anyway  ) and that's the end of that conversation.

So, here's what I'm thinking. He constantly texts or IM's me and wants to webcam but doesn't want to go out on another real date.

He's got a girlfriend, right? slaphead

well its unclear to me if you two have had sex or not? If so the guy is loony, if not maybe thats what he is trying to figure out?

Lack of experience doesn't bother me from either side, I just think it's hypocritical to dog pile on Palin and give Obama a pass.

I think it's principles that matter and Sarah Palin's principles are far superior to the current President's.

She's awesome I think! I would take a simple minded honest woman over an intelligent crook any day. But I think Obama is not very smart at all and Sahra Palin as quite intelligent!

Seriously? I really don't get why people think she's very intelligent. Or why they idolize her.

I mean sure, she's smart enough to make all kinds of money off the conservatives with her book and photo ops, but "quite intelligent" while saying Obama is not smart? How do you figure?

putting her next to other conservative politicians, Palin comes out looking like Margaret Thatcher..same reason republicans think she's hot. Sure Palin's cute standing next to Pelosi..standing alone she's repulsive.

well she did place second for miss alaska! Jeez never want to give credit! Palin is Hot! Any honest person would admit that, maybe she would look better in a hijab though?

this isn't saying much, alaskans are gross looking and the fact you find her the least bit attractive states wonders on your standards and wouldn't look the least bit appealing to me wearing a headscarf or not. I do however give her credit for quiting her job when realizing she couldn't hack it. That's a show of character.

Maybe you like women all hairy and smelly like in other countries? I like American women myself they rock!

I really give everyone a fair chance, and, as a woman, I was rooting for Palin to do well but then she just scared me to death when she spoke,,,,

Scary palin quotes,,,

1."I think on a national level your Department of Law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out.

2.about VP position
"[T]hey're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom."

http://politicalhumor.about.com/od/sarahpalinvideos/youtube/palin-vp-job.html

It wasnt partisanship, it just really did appear like she had no clue of the national position. However good her one year as governor may have been for Alaska,, this was not representative of what I wanted leading the country if McCain should take a turn for the worse. There is much more video that I saw for myself but I didnt commit it to memory and these were just the easiest to find.

well actually the VP has no say in the senate, Only votes as a tie breaker! Cheney Was an awesome VP and probably the most experienced and intelligent one ever! He would of made a better president though! Had Bush listened to Cheney more often I think we would have been much better off! He is one of my favorite politicians! Honest, hard working, and he stays true to his principals! One great man!

I'm not sure I've ever seen someone speak so highly of Cheney. laugh

maybe you should try and listen to the opposing veiw every once and a while and maybe you will.

I don't see your example as being representative of the loans that got the banks in trouble. Real Estate is constantly changing hands and banks loan on market value. If the market value goes down 30% and the customer defaults the bank has already paid the money to the previous owner. The bank losses are then the decrease in value less any payments made if they can sell the property for the diminished value. The banks had far too many of these scenerios and were also being forced to carry other losses on the books that were not actual because the property hadn't been sold or foreclosed on.

Some banks run what they call a credit line and run mortgages thru them and sell on the secondary market. Many other banks keep and service the debt. The purchase and selling of paper happens within hours! When everyone realized the paper was bad there where no buyers and banks where left with full credit lines and deminished assets Once this happens and they have to balance their books they end up in the red! Now they have no money, investors want their money and they cant sell the assets and can not get credit! Now credit is gridlocked cause banks are broke with nothing left to leverage! So why do the American people have to buy those assets at full price was the point! The bad loans could have been removed from their books and the money returned to their credit line! So the bank takes a loss and the government could have hired a third entity to step in and service the debt! But no we pay top dollar for the toxic assets and watch the banks raise prices on banking to make up the short fall! plus the credit is still gridlocked! We got screwed! We had the banks on the ropes and could have completely dictated terms for the american people, instead they are the ones dictating!

there are aprox. 90,000,000 homes at an average value of 300,000.

So lets say the mortgage on those assets is 50% borrowed money.

45,000,000 x 300,000 = 13,500,000,000,000 So thats 13.5 trillion

So now the banks are holding those notes on leveraged money! So when the housing prices drop and the forclosures start hitting the bank is over stretched and they went under right? If they wanted the money from the American people why not right down the 13.5 trillion dollar investment? The actual money owed by americans? I will tell you why, because big business will not allow us off the hook! Even though they made the bad investment we have to flip the bill! They never paid the tarp money back and never will! They just increased banking costs to the American people to make up the difference! Now look at those figures once more and realize that our debt currently stands at 12 trillion and we have to pay that back and no one is gonna bail us out??????? If we had to bail them out because they where too big to fail and they really paid all the tarp money back, how about the banks take on some of that debt after all they are responsible for a portion of it due to their mismanagement! If they can pay tarp back so fast as they claim let them take on the debt! Its all a farse, kinda strange how they paid back billions and there is no money anywhere!

The investments were made in good faith, the problem is people borrowed more than they could pay. I blame mortguage de-regulation that allowed "zero down" "interest only" loans. The republicans wanted to claim "more home ownership has taken place under George Bush than at any other time in american history" -- problem is, they ware not paying for them...

Ultimately - people did not pay - bottom line.

$.02 drinker

first off i agree with you about mortgage deregulation but that legislation was democrat regulation and yep not vetoed by Bush! Second of all the bank melt down that people say is so complicated is not as complicated as they say! It's quite simple in principal really! Leveraged money and assets that devalued leading to a bank collapse. the question is when the investors came to collect who should pay them? Not the American people thats who! The thought that the entire world would have collapsed is just not accurate! The monetary system is based on leveraged money thats where the real problem lies and if thats the sytem we plan on using investors need to accept their risk! So now you pay taxes to china and saudi arabia as well! They claim it to be too complicated because big business is running the show!

It is not that complicated really! the credit card companies i complained about are involved in usary and i am one of there victims! the second thing is the homes are still there! Yes they are worth a lot less, but they still have some value! So a bank is leveraging money at 30 times. They are holding toxic assets and go under overnight! So what is the lesson? If you expect to leverage at that rate you better have your money insured right? WELL GUESS WHAT THE INSURER WAS HOLDING THE SAME ASSETS! oh oh now what? Well guess now what! Some one needs to pony up the money! I mean they insured it and how could they insure it if they couldn't back up there word? I will tell you how, the FDIC thats how! So now the American government is on the hook to investors right? Well many of those investors where other countries and non-american citizens! So where the hell are we gonna get the money? Ohhhh i have an idea the American people can pay it! Let them pay to cover the toxic debt and for china's saudi and others bad investment. After all the interest they made on the money came at no risk right? I mean if other governments make an investment in our banks we can't let it fail right? So now going back to your point! On one hand you tell me it's my responsability for the credit card and on the other hand you say foriegn investors and others have no responsability! Wrong! If you make a bad investment tough shiet, lose your money and learn! Dont ask the American people to pay for their bad investment!
