My reply is a little similar to Melodies. After being around people in need all day, When getting home, I have a glass of tea, and need about a good 1/2 hour of quiet to relaxe and find out how much my body is hurting that day from all the physcial work there.
Then I can move on- most days to gardening, animals, idiot tv or whatever needs attention.

Ok, a couple of months ago I asked about Mocking birds and you guys helped me get rid of them (or at least leave the dogs alone when they went outside).
I have feeding the birds about 2 years or so, outside my front window by about 10 feet. The feeder hangs from a branch and its made so only the little birds can perch and eat. Even sm. doves can't get on it. The excess falls on the ground and then the others get it. About 8 months ago, a wounded femalwe pigeon showed up, limping badly, standing only on one leg. She never went near the feeder, I put down a bowl of water for her, it was like she want companionship and that was it. Slowly she has healed but still walks with a limp.
After about 3 months, one morning she has a boyfriend. Hmmmmm. So, I just watched, they showed up every morning, she'd be around almost all the time. Last wk, there were about 10 of her 'friends' that showed up. They have no respect, push all the little birds away, even the doves, to go after the falling seed. This am, almsot 20.
Any one have any suggestions on how to get rid of these pests? I'm losing my regulars. I go out and chase them, Little Dog isn't interested and Jack is way too old.

I realized was a tad crabby when wrote my responses, hurt actually but this is the more important aspect of the LDR to me also. I couldn't last very long without that. Yes, everyone is different. At least, from my experience, it put it all in a nutshell for me that hadn't even really thought about until it came up and the question was posed.
If I were 20 years younger, I really might have. Security really does become a big priority in your life when you get older, one that never did when were younger. As you get older, jobs aren't there, so if you have one, it's best to hang on to it, as a home, etc. Suppose am more leary due to the people I work with daily.
I do really congradulate you guiys who have done it, are doing it and have the energy and stamina to make it work.

Yes, makes alot of sense. I guess I couldn't figure it out but wondered why, why wouldn't pain keep you awake? Now I have a better grasp. So pain medication doesn't actually stop the pain, but keeps/blocks it from entering that part of the brain that yells ouch?
so what are headaches?
Esp. one sided? Oh shoot, maybe I should go look this stuff up myself, instead of posting...just food for thought.

I beleiev that there were many spritual leaders sent down here to enlighten us, also beleive there is a Supreme Being, perhaps.
It's very difficult to really describe. I thought as agnostism was something entirely different from the definitions I read. And Atheists have societies or similar.
