Yeah, sometimes things just happen to turn out right, but when you have kids, I think you lose the option to take a chance. I am going to be really harda$$ about this: When you have kids, your top priority is those kids, not finding a guy to marry, and not taking a chance as big as this.

I feel like you know it might be too good to be true, and that's why you are asking. You know a lot of things that you feel are right. Do you know 20 things that you don't like about this guy, and that you can live with those things? Personally, I would not remarry under these circumstances if I had dependent children. You might be willing to take the chance and hope everything works out, but your kids don't get a choice, and if you have to err, err on the side of your kids.

Biggest tip that he's a player--the guy doesn't write anything on his profile. I've found that to be true. Doesn't wamt to put anything out there for anyone else but will bite at anything that floats his way.

I have to cross a bridge almost every day, if I want to get to civilization (I live in MO, and it is a MO river bridge). My kids cross that bridge every day to get to school. People who aren't used to the bridge tell me it frightens them, and I just laugh, "Bridges don't just COLLAPSE!!!" Anyway, that is great about the kids in the school bus, that they were able to walk away.

I said it makes you LOOK ignorant. I did not say anyone was in fact actually ignorant. The topic was not deleted because, like other people, I had an opinion on something and posted it on JSH. What rule did I break?

Getting jumped on says nothing about me or the topic I posted. It says a lot about the people who were rude to me, because they mistakengly thought my intention was to be rude. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

If someone starts a thread stating why do women do this annoying thing, why do guys to this, no one asks them, why are you being so critical? Why do you want to bring people down? Now I have to ask, why the knee-jerk defensiveness to this question?

Wow! Yikes! I didn't mean to criticize anyone on this site specifically. If you held a gun to my head, I could not name anyone on this site by name. Nor would I want to. I am not trying to be mean. I do think it is a serious problem.

I'm not talking about complicated words or words misspelled because people are in a hurry. I mean "allot" for "a lot," getting "their" and "they're" mixed up, "whose" and "who's". It really scares me when I see how many people don't have even a simple grasp on basic spelling or grammar. Don't people care any more? It makes you look ignorant even if you are not.
