I think you are being somewhat of an alarmist, I'm sorry. And it is NOT
true about the needle in the playpit. I posted the link. Read it for
yourself.

I can't tell, with the glasses on with the beard. Then again, I think a
shaved head is hot (on a guy, that is), so you are rocking the look
either way!love

The heroin syringe thing is an urban legend.
http://www.snopes.com/horrors/parental/archer.asp
I mean who would waste a syringe full of good heroin by losing it in a
play pit?
Still, play pits are pretty dirty, and I hated them when my kids were
little.

I was seeing a guy I met on match.com. He said we were exclusive (we had
met and "hooked up.") One night I came home from seeing him, and he was
online on match.com. I asked him about it, and he said it was something
to do. I told him I couldn't trust him and that he shouldn't call me
again. Good riddance to bad garbage.

I just moved back to Columbus * and I'm in the process of getting my
life back on track after a train wreck of a marriage. I don't have any
unresolved issues with her and I'm an open book otherwise so if you want
to know something about me ask. *

I think you need to take out what I put in between the stars there. I
know you are trying to be honest, but really, no one wants to hear about
your past bad relationships. We have all been there, or else we would
not be on this site, lol, so it is a given.

You're a cute guy. You will snap up a great girl in no time!

Thanks, Lisa. Good job! They ought to qualify for prison on the
annoyance factor alone. Geez. I know I saw on TV a woman who thought she
was writing an american man, the guy who sent her the e-mail, and they
had in the audience the male model whose photo was used in the e-mail;
the scammers just took it off a model website. I do report these as spam
to myspace. I just was not sure what it was they really wanted.

I don't think it is one individual person trying to trick someone into a
"relationship." Obviously, it is someone who uses English as a second
language ("I would proposed. . .if I was ask to comment about you. . .I
hope to read from you soon"). It's not just the spelling and
punctuation, it's the grammar and sentence structure. This was written
by some foreigner running a scam.

I get tons of these every day:
"I started thinking today of all the ways that someone could make my
life complete, and I ran out of space when I tried to fit it on just one
sheet.I am sitting alone in my room, sitting in front of my computer,my
hands on the keyboard, poundering of what to writw when i came across
your profile.Am amazed that a woman as beautiful and grounded like you
can be on a dating site,am sure all the men on this site would be after
you.Sincerely speaking If i was ask to comment about you,"i will tell
the world that you are one of the angels that came down from heaven into
this world in the form of a human being"..Am not saying this to flater
you,but i want you to know that this is just the truth.Am sure God takes
is time to build you specially.

When i finish reading through your profile,i realised we had most things
in common. This was the main reason why i think we should get to know
more about each other personalities and other things about us.B'cos am
on this site to search for my true love, the queen of my life.Am looking
for a passionate woman who will love me completely,i dont play head
games.Am very funny, and serious when i should be.I love having witty
conversation,i try to luagh always b'cos it keeps me fresh and young.

If you dont mins,i would proposed that we get to know more about each
other.See what comes out from our communication,am sure we will make a
good match if we are willing to be honest and trust worthy to each
other.Tell me more about yourself and why you are on this site.I need a
woman who will love me for me,have a nice day.I hope to read from you
soon...

Smiling,
Michael... "
Yeah, sounds like an all-American guy named "Mike."
What I want to know is, what do these people gain by sending these out
en masse? What is the scam?

Trimmed. Why are all the women answering this and no men?
 Guy, take off your pants and look down. If you have an
inforestation, please trim. Or I will have to do it for you!

Sounds good, except for that pesky last sentence!

The Giver

In love, you give your all and feel guilty when relationships fail.
For you, sex is not seperate from love and caring.

Overall, you are humorous, giving, and motivational.
However, you tend to be over-protective and critical of your partner.

herewego: I don't think it's right to include the kids until you are
pretty sure the 2 of you are going to be together a while. Otherwise, it
looks like you are parading men or women in and out of your kids' lives.
Kids get attached to people.

I am old enough that it is a given that anyone I date is going to have
had kids, so it's not an issue w/me.

Please! I am begging you! Go with something very *not* trendy, like
George or Ann. I type people's names all day, and it is a nightmare.
"Kendall" is "Kyndyl," "Maggie" is "Magi," I have had enough "Britney,
Brittaney, Brittni" to last me a lifetime. Kristi, Christie, Kristey,
Christey, Christy. mad

Yeah, Oldsage, we all learned a lesson, and at least she came out of
this one safely.

It's not like these girls (incl. my daughter) regularly did mean things
to other people. This was out of the blue.

You know, I want to call these girls' parents, but they are the way they
are because their parents don't give a sh*t. Well, they'll be knocked up
and dropped out of school any day now.
