33: And when the sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

34: And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?(This is no doubt the hardest part of His sufferings. Having been with the Father from all eternity without the slightest separation, it was hard to be forsaken even for a moment. This was necessary because God could not countenance sin even if it were borne by His only begotten Son. This emphasizes the awfulness of sin and that it must be put away if fellowship with God is desired(1 Jn.1:7; Heb.12:14; Tit. 2:11-14))

35: And some of them that stood by, when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias(Elijah(1 Ki.17; Mal. 4:5-6).

36: And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

37: And Jesus cried with a loud voice(His death was not brought about by physical weakness), and gave up the ghost(He didn't die until The Holy Spirit told Him to die(Heb.9:14)).

38: And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom(This signified that the price had been paid, with all sin atoned and the way into the Holy of Holies was made possible to all men through the blood of Christ (Heb.9:8; 10:19-20). Now all men can find God and have access to Him without priests(Acts 2:21; 1 Jn.1:9; Rom. 10:9-10; Eph.2:17-18).

39: And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

Mark 15:33-39

THANK YOU JESUS

Come See The Difference

You say to-may-toe ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I say to-ma-toe
You say poe-tay-toe ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I say poe-ta-toe

As you can see, there is a noticeable difference in the pronunciation of the two items mentioned above. Though after a brief discussion, any misunderstanding can be cleared up as to what we are referring to when describing those items. It’s not that easy when it comes to clearing up ones deception of how to Serve The Lord.

There is so much evil , that is both intentional and unintentional that is being attached to Jesus And The Cross Being The Only Way To Salvation.

I am not referring to the fact that we humans have different personalities, backgrounds in life and ways of communicating. It is great to have The Truth presented from so many different directions as long as each direction Starts and Ends In Gods’ Truth.

We are Commanded to Love each other and God. God Wants A Continually Growing Relationship With Us. We are to Constantly Seek The Leading and Guidance Of The Holy Spirit. With The Holy Spirit Helping your Growth and Understanding you will be so much different from individuals taking their growth and learning upon themselves without seeking God as their leader.

The Holy Spirits’ Leading Provides Growing Relationship With God The Father And With And Thru Jesus The Son and What He Did On The Cross .

Results is leading themselves and other into Gods Way and Eternity with Jesus.

Look at The Difference

Persons following themselves and others misleadings and deceptions without seeking the guiding of The Holy Spirit are led away from Jesus and The Fathers’ growing relationship.

1Timothy 1:

1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope(Christ Alone and what He did at the Cross is “our hope”);
2: Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord(all made possible by the Cross).

3: As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus(Paul desired that Timothy remain at Ephesus for a period of time because of false teachers attempting to spread false doctrine among the people), when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other Doctrine(the Doctrine must be “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified”),
4: Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies(Jewish fables and Jewish genealogies; so, the false teachers were Judaizers who insisted that Law must be added to Grace, and who placed no stock in the Cross at all; in a sense), which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in Faith(this speaks of the the fact that Faith, not Law is the sphere or element in which our Salvation functions; such Faith always has the Cross as its object, and thereby edifies): so do.

5: Now the end of the commandment(charge) is charity out of a pure heart(which alone can produce love), and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned(pretended faith):
6: From which some having swerved(left the Cross) have turned aside unto vain jangling(useless talk);
7: Desiring to be teachers of the law(refers to the Law of Moses and speaks of the Judaizers); understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm(they only had surface knowledge).
8: But we know that the law is good(showing that he was not an enemy of the Law), if a man use it lawfully(understanding that the Law of Moses pointed strictly to Christ; when He came, He fulfilled it in totality);

9: Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers(true Believers do not fall into these categories),
10: For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind(homosexuality), for menstealers(slave traders), for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine(actually refers to all that is contrary to the Word of God);
11: According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God(pertains to His Blessed Gift of Forgiveness offered to all sinners who accept His Gospel of Love), which was committed to my trust(The Lord chose Paul as the recipient and bearer of the New Covenant).
12: And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry(the Lord knew Paul would be Faithful and the Gospel would not be comprimised);
13: Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious(before he was saved): but I obtained Mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14: And the Grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant(proclaims that which God stands ready to give to any honest, and earnest seeker) with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
15: This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation(the Gospel of Christ dying to save sinners is worthy of being accepted by the whole world), that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners(which He did through the Cross); of whom I am chief(Paul felt he was the number one sinner of all time before his Salvation).

16: Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him(on Christ and what He did at the Cross) to life everlasting.
17: Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
18: This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy(refers to a command or injunction), according to the prophecies which went before on thee(probably refers to the time frame of Acts 16:1-3), that thou by them mightest war a good warfare(we aren't told exactly what the Prophecies were, but that they spoke of an assignment to leadership in the Army of King Jesus);
19: Holding faith(maintaining Faith in Christ and the Cross), and a good conscience(speaks of following the Word exactly as it is given); which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck(a metaphor used by Paul, pointing to those who had abandoned the Cross):
20: Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander(presents two examples of one not “holding the Faith”); whom I have delivered unto Satan(1Cor.5:5), that they may learn not to blaspheme(This tells us that all who depart from “the Faith,” which is Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, can only be concluded as “blaspheming.”)

Isaiah 53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Matt.1:21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matt.26:28: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

1Peter 2:24: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Eph.1:7: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Great Subjects: <b>Rom.6-The Cross, Sanctification,</b>Rom.7-The Law of Sin and Death,The Believers struggle against The Sin Nature,<b> Rom.8-Gods' Prescribed Order of Victory, The Law Of The Spirit Of Life In Christ Jesus, Contrast, Deliverance,Conquerors</b>======== Romans chapters:6,7 & 8

Rom.6:1 "What shall we say then?<b>(This is meant to direct attention to Rom.5:20.)</b>Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?"<b>(Just because Grace is greater than sin doesn't mean that the Believer has a license to sin.)</b>

2.God forbid(presents Pauls' answer to the question). How shall we, who are dead to sin<b>(the sin nature),</b>live any longer therein?<b>(This portrays what the Believer is now in Christ.)</b>

3.Know you not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ<b>(plainly says that this Baptism is into Christ and not water[1Cor.1:17;12:13;Gal.3:27;Eph.4:5;Col.2:11-13])</b> were baptized into His Death?<b>(When Christ died on the Cross, in the Mind of God, we died with Him; in other words, He became our Substiture,and our identification with Him in His Death gives us all the benefits for which He died; the idea is that He did it all for us!)</b>

4.Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death<b>(not only did we die with Him,but we were buried with Him as well,which means that all the sin and transgression of the past were buried;when they put Him in the Tomb,they put all of our sins into that Tomb as well)</b>:that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of the Father,even so we also should walk in newness of life<b>(we died with Him,we were bured with Him,and His Resurrection was our Resurrection to a"Newness of Life").</b>

5.For if we have been planted together<b>(with Christ)</b>in the likeness of His death<b>(Paul proclaims the Cross as the instrument through which all Blessings come;consequently,the Cross must ever be the Objest of our Faith, which gives the Holy Spirit latitude to work within our lives)</b>,we shall be also in the likeness of His Resurrection<b>(we can have the "likeness of His Resurrection,"i.e.,"live this Resurrection Life,"only as long as we understand the "likeness of His Death,"which refers to the Cross as the means by which all of this is done):

6.(The guilt of Sin is removed at conversion, because the nature no longer rules in our hearts and lives)

7.(We died with him upon Believing Faith,& set free from the bondage of The Sin Nature)

8.(We have Resurrection Life which is more Abundant Life[Jn.10:10])</b>
9.Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dies no more<b>(means that His Work was a Finished Work, and will require nothing else);</b>death has no more dominion over Him<b>(because all sin has been Atoned; inasmuch as Christ is our Substiture, if death has no more dominion over Him, it has no more dominion over us' this means that the power of the sin nature is broken).

10.(All life comes from God and we receive that life by virtue of the Cross and our Faith in that Finished Work)

11.(While the Sin Nature is not dead, we are dead unto the sin nature by virtue of The Cross and our Faith in that Sacrifice,but only as long as our Faith continues in The Cross)

12.(The Believer must constantly look to Christ and The Cross[1Cor.1:17-18])
13.(Continued day to day Faith in the Finished Work of The Cross[Lk.9:23-24])

14.(If we try to live by any law, no matter how good it might be in its own right,the sin nature will have dominion over us because we are under Grace. The Grace of God flows to the believer on an unending basis only as long as the Believer exercises Faith in Christ and what He did at the Cross.Grace is the Goodness of God exercised by and through the Holy Spirit, and given to undeserving Saints)
15.(No license to Sin)
16.(We are slaves to sin unto death or Christ unto Life)
17.(Jesus Christ and Him Crucified)
18.(Slaves to Righteousness by Proper Faith in The Cross)
19.
20.
21.
22.(Free from Sin,Servants to God,The Holy Spirit and Everlasting Life)</b>
23.For the wages of sin is death<b.(speaks of spiritual death,which is separation from God);</b>but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord<b>(as stated, all of this, without exception, comes to us by the means of what Christ did at the Cross, which demands that the Cross ever be the Object of our Faith, thus giving the Holy Spirit latitude to work within our lives and bring forth His Fruit).</b>

Rom.7:1 Know ye not, Brethren<b>(Paul is speaking to Believers),</b> (for I speak to them who know the Law,)<b>(he is speaking of the Law of Moses, but it could refer to any type of religious Law)</b>how that the Law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?<b>(The Law has dominion as long as he tries to live by law. Regrettably, not understanding the Cross regarding Sanctification, virtually the entirety of the Church is presently trying to live for God by means of the Law. Let the Believer understand that there are only two places he can be,Grace or Law. If he doesn't understand the Cross as it refers to Sanctification, which is the only means of victory, he will automatically be under Law, which guarantees failure.)

2.(Paul using analogy of the marriage bond)</b>

3.So then if, while her husband lives, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress<b>(in effect, the woman now has two husbands, at least in the Eyes of God; following this analogy,the Holy Spirit through Paul will give us a great truth; many Christians are living a life of spiritual adultery; they are married to Christ, but they are, in effect, seving another husband, "the Law";it is quite an analogy!):</b>but if her husband be dead <b>(the Law is dead by virtue of Christ having fulfilled the Lawin every respect),</b> she is free from that Law<b>(if the husband dies, the woman is free to marry and serve another; the Law of Moses, being satisfied in Christ, is now dead to the Believer and the Believer is free to serve Christ without the Law having any part or parcel in his life or living);</b>so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man<b>(presents the Believer as now married to Christ, and no longer under obligation to the Law).

4.(Proper fruit can only be brought forth by the Believer constantly looking to the Cross; in fact,Christ must never be separated from the Work of the Cross; to do so is to produce"another Jesus"[II Cor.11:4]).
5.(We have a completely new Way:Faith in Christ and what He did at The Cross guarantees perpetual victory,,,anything else in law(death))
6.
7.(Mans condition is not caused by the Law of God, for the Law is Holy:rather his condition is exposed by Gods Law)

8.(The Sin Nature working in Paul while not yet having his living for God going completely thru Faith in Christ and The Cross)</B>

9.For I was alive without the Law once<b>(Paul is referring to himself personally and his conversion to Christ; the Law, he states, had nothing to do with that conversion; neither did it have anything to do with his life in Christ)</b>:but when the Commandment came<b>(having just been saved, and not understanding the Cross of Christ,he tried to live for God by keeping the Commandments through his own strength and power; in his defense, no one else at that time understood the Cross; in fact, the meaning of the Cross, which is actually the meaning of the New Covenant, would be given to Paul)</b>, sin revived<b>( the sin nature will always, without exception, revive under such circumstances, which results in failure)</b>,and I died<b>(he was not meaning that he physically died, as would be obvious, but that he died to the Commandment; in other words, he failed to obey no matter how hard he tried; let all Believers understand that if the Adpostle Paul couldn't live for God in this manner, neither can you!).

10-11.(Paul thought since he accepted Christ, by that mere fact alone he could certainly obey the Lord in every respect;but he couldn't, and neither can you, in that fashion, despite all of his efforts to live for the Lord by means of Law-keeping)</b>

12-13-14.(Once again it is not the Law that is at fault, but rather the sin in man which opposed the Law. The Law is totally of God and from God, but we cannot keep It outside of Faith in the Cross; in other words, it is all in Christ)

15.(By mixing the Law with Christ Paul frustrates the Grace of God; that means the Holy Spirit will not help such a person, which guarantees failure[Gal.2:21]
<b>
16-17-18-19-20(The Sin Nature ruling in Paul because he is using his will power and law, instead of Faith in Christ and The Cross Alone)
21-25.(Paul is Learning about The Law of Sin and Death of which he cannot satisfy within his own devices)</b>

Rom.8:1.There is therefore mow no condemnation <b>(guilt)</b> to them which are in Christ Jesus<b>(refers back to Rom.6:3-5 and our being Baptized into His Death, which speaks of the Crucifixion)</b>,who walk not after the flesh<b>(depending on one's personal strength and ability or great religious efforts in order to overcome sin)</b>,but after the Spirit<b>(the Holy Spirit works exclusively within the legal confines of the Finished Work of Christ; our Faith in that Finished Work,i.e.,"the Cross,"guarantees the help of the Holy Spirit, which guarantees Victory).</b>

2.For the Law<b>(that which we are about to give is a Law of God, devised by the Godhead in eternity past[1Pet.1:18-20];this Law, in fact, is "Gods' Prescribed Order of Victory")</b> of the Spirit<b>(Holy Spirit,i.e.,"the way the Spirit works")</b>of life<b>(all life comes from Christ, but through the Holy Spirit[Jn.16:13-14])</b> in Christ Jesus<b>(any time Paul uses this term or one of its derivatives, he is, without fail, referring to what Christ did at the Cross, which makes this "life" possible)</b> has made me free<b>(given me total Victory)</b> from the Law of sin and death<b>(THESE ARE THE TWO MOST POWERFUL LAWS IN THE UNIVERSE; THE "LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS" alone is stronger than the"LAW OF SIN AND DEATH";this means that if the Believer attempts to live for God by any manner other than Faith in Christ and the Cross, he is doomed to failure).</b>

3.For what the Law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh<b>(those under Law had only their willpower, which is woefully insufficient; so despite how hard they tried, they were unable to keep the Law then, and the same inability persits presently; any person who tries to live for God by a system of laws is doomed to failure, because the Holy Spirit will not function in that capacity)</b>;God sending his own Son<b>(refers to man's helpless condition, unable to save himself and unable to keep even a simple Law and, therefore, in dire need of a Saviour)</b>in the likeness of sinful flesh<b>(this means that Christ was really human, conformed in appearance to flesh which is characterized by sin, but yet sinless),</b> and for sin <b>( to atone for sin, to destroy its power, and to save and Sanctify its victims)</b>,condemned sin in the flesh<b>(destroyed the power of sin by giving His Perfect Body as a Sacrifice for sin, which made it possible for sin to be defeated in our flesh' it was all through the Cross):</b>

Matthew 27:

45: Now from the sixth hour(12 Noon) there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.(3 p.m.-- for these three hours, God would literally hide His Face from His Son; during this time, Jesus did bear the sin penalty of mankind (II Cor.5:21) “this darkness” was not the result of an eclipse, for then the moon was full; it was brought on by God in that He could not look upon His Son, as He did bear the sin penalty of the world).

46: And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice,(showing He didn't die from weakness, but rather laid down His Own Life (Jn.10:17-18)) saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?(The question as to why God had forsaken Him was not asked in a sense of not knowing, but in a sense of acknowledging the act. God didn't deliver Him, even as He always had, because, to have done such, would have forfeited Redemption for mankind. Incidentally, Jesus spoke in Aramaic, which was commonly used by the Lord.)

47: Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.(this would have referred to Jews, because Romans would have known nothing about Elijah).

48: And straightway(immediately) one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.(the evidence is, it touched His lips, and He died; it had nothing to do with His Life or death).

49: The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.(said in mockery!)
50: Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.(He freely laid down His Life, meaning that He didn't die from His wounds; as well, He didn't die until the Holy Spirit told him to do so(Hev.9:14))

51: And, behold, the veil of the temple(that which hid the Holy of Holies; Josephus said it was sixty feet high from the ceiling to the floor, four inches thick, and was so strong, that four yoke of oxen could not pull it apart) was rent in twain from the top to the bottom(meaning that God alone could have done such a thing; it also signified, that the price was paid completely on the Cross; signified by the rent veil; regrettably, some say, the Cross—didn't finish the task with other things required; this Verse says differently); and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;(represented an earthquake, but had nothing to do with the renting of the veil, which took place immediately before this phenomenon)

52: And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,(does not teach “soul sleep” as some claim, but rather that the bodies of the Sainted dead do sleep; not the soul and the spirit, which then went to Paradise, but since the Cross, at death, now go to be with Christ(Phil.1:23))

53: And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.(while all were delivered out of Paradise, and taken to Heaven, some, even many, stopped over in Jerusalem for a short period of time, “and appeared unto many”; how many there were, we aren't told, and to whom they appeared, we aren't told; Matthew alone gives this account).

54: Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.(he was the first Gentile to render this testimony of Faith; tradition affirms that the Centurion's name was Longinus, and that he became a devoted follower of Christ, preached the Faith, and died a martyr's death)

27:51 Immediately upon his death, while the sun was still darkened, the veil of the temple, which separated the holy of holies from the court of the priests, though made of the richest and strongest tapestry, was rent in two from the top to the bottom: so that while the priest was ministering at the golden altar (it being the time of the sacrifice) the sacred oracle, by an invisible power was laid open to full view:

God thereby signifying the speedy removal of the veil of the Jewish ceremonies the casting down the partition wall, so that the Jews and Gentiles were now admitted to equal privileges, and the opening a way through the veil of his flesh for all believers into the most holy place. And the earth was shaken - There was a general earthquake through the whole globe, though chiefly near Jerusalem: God testifying thereby his wrath against the Jewish nation, for the horrid impiety they were committing.

The veil which was rent was the veil which divided the holy place into which the priests entered from the holy of holies into which only the high priest might enter on the day of atonement, Note: "Ex 26:31" Lev 16:1-30 The rending of that veil, which was a type of the human body of Christ Heb 10:20 signified that a "new and living way" was opened for all believers into the very presence of God with no other sacrifice or priesthood save Christ's. (cf) Heb 9:1-8 10:19-22.
Mt 27:51-66. Signs and Circumstances Following the Death of the Lord Jesus-He Is Taken Down from the Cross, and Buried-The Sepulchre Is Guarded. ( = Mr 15:38-47; Lu 23:47-56; Joh 19:31-42).

The Veil Rent (Mt 27:51).
51. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom-This was the thick and gorgeously wrought veil which was hung between the "holy place" and the "holiest of all," shutting out all access to the presence of God as manifested "from above the mercy seat and from between the cherubim"-"the Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest" (Heb 9:8). Into this holiest of all none might enter, not even the high priest, save once a year, on the great day of atonement, and then only with the blood of atonement in his hands, which he sprinkled "upon and before the mercy seat seven times" (Le 16:14)-to signify that access for sinners to a holy God is only through atoning blood.

But as they had only the blood of bulls and of goats, which could not take away sins (Heb 10:4), during all the long ages that preceded the death of Christ the thick veil remained; the blood of bulls and of goats continued to be shed and sprinkled; and once a year access to God through an atoning sacrifice was vouchsafed-in a picture, or rather, was dramatically represented, in those symbolical actions-nothing more.

But now, the one atoning Sacrifice being provided in the precious blood of Christ, access to this holy God could no longer be denied; and so the moment the Victim expired on the altar, that thick veil which for so many ages had been the dread symbol of separation between God and guilty men was, without a hand touching it, mysteriously "rent in twain from top to bottom"-"the Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was NOW made manifest!"

How emphatic the statement, from top to bottom; as if to say, Come boldly now to the Throne of Grace; the veil is clean gone; the mercy seat stands open to the gaze of sinners, and the way to it is sprinkled with the blood of Him-"who through the eternal Spirit hath offered Himself without spot to God!" Before, it was death to go in, now it is death to stay out. See more on this glorious subject on [1376]Heb 10. 19-22.

Six Steps To Salvation:

What must I do to be saved?" The Bible provides a clear answer.

1 ACKNOWLEDGE "For all have sinned and come short of the
glory of God"(Romans 3:23) God be merciful to me a sinner(Luke 18:13)

2 REPENT "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish"Luke 13:3
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your
sins may be blotted out"(Acts 3:19)

3 CONFESS "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins, and to clense us from all unrighteousness"
(1 John1:9)

4 FORSAKE "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous
man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord...for he will
abundantly pardon"(Isaiah 55:7)

5 BELIEVE "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life" (John 3:16) He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned" (Mark 16:16)

6 RECEIVE " He came unto his own, and his own received him
not. But as many as received him, to them give he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"
(John 1:11,12)

WHY NOT MAKE YOUR ETERNAL DECISION RIGHT NOW:

IT IS TIME NOW! In fact, if you have not already given your heart and life to Jesus Christ, it is time that you do so, and actually it can be done this very moment.

I am going to ask you to read these words below,and actually say them out loud. As well, I am going to ask you to believe them with all of your heart, and if you will do so, you will be instantly saved. Please say them with me as you read:

“DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN, I COME TO YOU TODAY AS A LOST SINNER.”

“I AM ASKING YOU THAT YOU SAVE MY SOUL AND CLEANSE ME FROM ALL SIN.”

“I REALIZE IN MY HEART MY NEED OF SALVATION, WHICH CAN ONLY COME THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.”

“I AM ACCEPTING CHRIST INTO MY HEART AND WHAT HE DID ON THE CROSS IN ORDER TO PURCHASE MY REDEMPTION.”

“IN OBEDIENCE TO YOUR WORD, I CONFESS WITH MY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS, AND BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT GOD HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD.”

“YOU HAVE SAID IN YOUR WORD WHICH CANNOT LIE, ‘FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF LORD SHALL BE SAVED’(ROM. 10:13).”

“I HAVE CALLED UPON YOUR NAME EXACTLY AS YOU HAVE SAID, AND I BELIEVE THAT RIGHT NOW, I AM SAVED.”

If you have sincerely prayed these words, which I have written out for you, and believed in your heart upon the Lord Jesus Christ, you are at this moment saved, and your name is written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Congratulations!

Thank you Servant for your post.

But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel.(Joshua7:1)

Israel had won a great victory regarding Jericho. The victory, of course, belonged to the Lord. The Believer, however, as Joshua, is sometimes caught off guard after a great victory. It is easy at such a time to be overconfident, and thereby, to forget prayer. Had Joshua prayed about Ai, sin would immediately have been discovered and defeat avoided.

A hidden sin was the cause of Israel's defeat at Ai. God had given the Command that none of the "treasure" of Jericho was to be taken by the people; all of it was to be dedicated to the treasury of the Lord. Achan had disobeyed that Command and had taken for himself some, silver, gold, and a Babylonian garment(Josh.7:21).

In the life of victory, God is the One and Only strength of the Believer. We have no other strength. But God cannot give that strength if we indulge in sin. If He did, He would deny His Own Nature, which is Holiness. When He acts in power in the midst of His People, He must act in harmony with His Own Nature; hence, He must judge sin in the camp of Israel with the same "fierce anger" with which He judged it in the city of Jericho. In both cases, that Judgement was death.

But if the judgment and discovery of sin be painful, and if there be faithfulness in dealing with it, then Grace gives both blessing and victory, and the valley of Achor becomes a "Door of Hope"
(Hosea 2:15).

The valley of Achor was where Achan was executed for his sin and his refusal to repent, until forced by Joshua. Sin should be feared, and extremely so. But neither its bitterness nor its punishment should be dreaded; for if it as stated, the "valley of Achor," which had been a valley of death, now becomes a "Door of Hope"(1 John 1:9).

The Christian fails when the Christian gets his eyes off Christ and the Cross and onto self, which denies such a one the help of the Holy Spirit. That being the case, the person is to be restored by telling them "why" they failed, and how, once again, to resume the road of victory, i.e., Christ and the Cross(Gal.6:1).

Thank You Jesus for dying for our Sin.
Folks, I Love You with the Love that is Provided through and from Jesus.

1Timothy 1:

1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope(Christ Alone and what He did at the Cross is “our hope”);

6: From which some having swerved(left the Cross) have turned aside unto vain jangling(useless talk);
7: Desiring to be teachers of the law(refers to the Law of Moses and speaks of the Judaizers); understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm(they only had surface knowledge).
8: But we know that the law is good(showing that he was not an enemy of the Law), if a man use it lawfully(understanding that the Law of Moses pointed strictly to Christ; when He came, He fulfilled it in totality);

9: Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers(true Believers do not fall into these categories),
10: For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind(homosexuality), for menstealers(slave traders), for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine(actually refers to all that is contrary to the Word of God);
11: According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God(pertains to His Blessed Gift of Forgiveness offered to all sinners who accept His Gospel of Love), which was committed to my trust(The Lord chose Paul as the recipient and bearer of the New Covenant).
12: And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry(the Lord knew Paul would be Faithful and the Gospel would not be comprimised);

Amen.
18: This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy(refers to a command or injunction), according to the prophecies which went before on thee(probably refers to the time frame of Acts 16:1-3), that thou by them mightest war a good warfare(we aren't told exactly what the Prophecies were, but that they spoke of an assignment to leadership in the Army of King Jesus);

Eph.1:7: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Thank You Jesus

Satan can quote The Bible Word for Word. But he can't destroy It(The Truth). For him to cause our destruction, he must cause variance in interpretation. And then that grows and grows until we don't know that we are following and believing in lies. We then are willing to die for Satan without having a clue.

The result is Many christs,gods,bibles,religions,idols and total confusion of which satan is the author. All of this results in our eternal damnation.

That is why we must First Seek The Leading and Guidance of The Holy Spirit In All Things.
And whenever you have some doubt about what The Holy Spirit has Spoken to you, back it up with The Word. They will always agree with Each Other. For satan is very slick and will try to feed you something that seems right but will vary some from the truth.

With the help of my Father and Holy Spirit, I got together what I was working on. Satan not only quoted Psalms 91:11-12, when he was tempting Jesus, but he also twisted those verses, also did you noticed that he didn't quote verse 13? The reason being is, it predicts his destruction by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalms 91
11: For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
(This shows how much Satan knows the Bible, but yet he still thinks he can circumvent the Word of God. Angels did constantly help Christ(Mat.4:11; Lk.4:10-110. However, Satan corrupted the Scripture by omitting "in all thy ways," and inserting in its place "at any time." The Messiah's path through the desert of the Wilderness was one of dependence upon God. Satan's effort in the temptation was to move Him to independence, but he failed. Christ walked a path of perfect submission, obedience, and depencence; likewise, all those who walk after Him in like dependence and faith can be assured of His Victory.)

12: They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
(Satan attempted to get Christ to commit the sin of presumption, which means to twist the Word of God in order that it mean somthing that God did not intend.)

13: Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. (Satan didn't quote this because it promised his defeat(Gen.3:15)).

Matt.4
5: Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
6: And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
(This is derived from Psalms 91:11-12).

7: Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
8: Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9: And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10: Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. (Satan desire that mankind worship and serve him; we are to worship and serve the Lord Alone).

11: Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Luke 4
9: And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

10: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
(a misquote from Psalms 91:11-12; the correct quotation is, "to keep thee in all Your ways," which refers to the "Ways of God"; protection is guaranteed under those circumstances, but not as Satan said)

11: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Satan again misquoted the Text by adding the words "at any time," which changes the meaning altogether; this tells us that Satan knows the Word very well, and to his own advantage subtly changes it to make it say something it originally did not say).

12: And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

What is shown above and with all of the deceptive bibles that exist, proves that Satan knows the Bible and is constantly working to prevent us from receiving and believing It's Truth. Also we can never know it without The Holy Spirit bringing It Alive to us.

Thank You Holy Spirit and Father for showing and helping us.

Love In Jesus

Christians,, Be Careful for nothing. Satan is the great deceiver. Remember, whatever version you use, that even though you might understand the meaning and know what's going on in a partially right bible version,, the person who is following your reference into a that version, might not know,, and thereby continues to use the version that is misleading in other areas than what you was talking about.

In The Name of Jesus, Be Careful

Paul named Peter publicly. Peter was guilty of unscriptural practice. "But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed ... But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of the Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?" (Gal. 2:11-14). The whole issue revolved around salvation by the law or by grace. When the integrity and purity of the gospel is at stake, then we have no choice when it comes to the matter of exposing error and naming names.

Galatians 2:
1: Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
2: And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles(the message of The Cross), but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
3: But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
4: And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus(the Truth of the Gospel was at stake), that they might bring us into bondage:
5: To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour(Paul would not yield one iota, nor compromise in the slightest); that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.(Justification by Faith was on trial)
6: But of these(false brethren) who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:(there was nothing anyone there could add to the Revelation given to him by the Lord, as it regards the Cross)
7: But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision(the Gentiles) was committed unto me(presents the Jerusalem Apostles championing the cause of Paul after they heard the issue discussed in private conference), as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;(the Jews)
8: (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
9: And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
10: Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
11: But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face(means Paul openly opposed and reproved him, even though Peter was the eldest), because he was to be blamed.(for abandoning the Cross and resorting to Law)
12: For before that certain came from James(gives us all too well another example as to why Apostles, or anyone else for that matter, are not to be the final word, but rather the Word of God itself), he(Peter) did eat with the Gentiles(Peter knew the Gospel of Grace): but when they were come,(those from James in Jerusalem) he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.(The problem was :man fear.” Some of the Jewish Christians were still trying to hold to the Law of Moses, which means they acceptedd Jesus as the Messiah, but gave no credence to the Cross whatsoever. This ultimately occasioned the necessity of Paul writing the Epistle to the Hebrew.)
13: And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him(with Peter); insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.(hypocrisy)
14: But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel,(they were forsaking the Cross) I said unto Peter before them all(Paul's rebuke was in the presence of everybody, the whole Antioch Church), If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?(Hypocrisy!)
15: We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
16: Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
17: But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18: For if I build again the things which I destroyed(revert back to the Law), I make myself a transgressor.(To revert to any type of Law is a departure from God's prescribed Order of Bictory(The Cross),and is sin)
19: For I through the law(Christ has perfectly kept the Law and suffered its just penalty, all on my behalf) am dead to the law(the Law is not dead, but I am dead to the Law by virtue of having died with Christ(Rom.6:3-5)), that I might live unto God.(This presents that which can only be doen through Christ, and never by the Law)
20: I am crucified with Christ(as the Foundation of all Victory; Paul. Here, takes us back to Romans 6:3-5): nevertheless I live;(have new life) yet not I(not by my own strength and ability), but Christ liveth in me(by virtue of me dying with Him on the Cross, and being raised with Him in newness of life): and the life which I now live in the flesh (my daily walk before God)I live by the faith of the Son of God(the Cross is ever the object of my Faith), who loved me, and gave himself for me.(which is the only way that I could be saved)
21: I do not frustrate the grace of God (if we make anything other than the Cross of Christ the object of our Faith, we frustrate the Grace of God, which means we stop its action, and the Holy Spirit will no longer help us): for if righteousness come by the law(any type of Law), then Christ is dead in vain.(If I can successfully live for the Lord by any means other than Faith in Christ and the Cross, then the Death of Christ was a waste)

1Timothy 1:

1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope(Christ Alone and what He did at the Cross is “our hope”);
2: Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord(all made possible by the Cross).

5: Now the end of the commandment(charge) is charity out of a pure heart(which alone can produce love), and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned(pretended faith):

6: From which some having swerved(left the Cross) have turned aside unto vain jangling(useless talk);

7: Desiring to be teachers of the law(refers to the Law of Moses and speaks of the Judaizers); understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm(they only had surface knowledge).

8: But we know that the law is good(showing that he was not an enemy of the Law), if a man use it lawfully(understanding that the Law of Moses pointed strictly to Christ; when He came, He fulfilled it in totality);

11: According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God(pertains to His Blessed Gift of Forgiveness offered to all sinners who accept His Gospel of Love), which was committed to my trust(The Lord chose Paul as the recipient and bearer of the New Covenant).

17: Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Eph.1:7: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Thank You Jesus

We are to REJECT HERETICS. "A man that is an heretick after the first and second
admonition reject " (Titus 3: 10). We should reject those who deny redemption by the
blood of Christ. There are many who deny this or some other doctrine of the Word of
God. If they will not respond to being admonished, then they are to be rejected.

We are to look out for those who preach another gospel. Paul warned about those who
preached "another Jesus ... another spirit ... or another gospel" (II Cor. 11:4). How can we know them unless we judge their Jesus, their spirit, and their gospel by the Word of God?
Paul called such preachers "false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ" (11 Cor. II: 13). He explains in v. 14-15 that these preachers are the ministers of Satan. The God-called man must be just as faithful today in exposing the ministers of Satan.

Paul warned the Galatians about those who "pervert the gospel of Christ." He also said, "If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." (See Gal. 1:6-9). Multitudes today are preaching a perverted gospel!

We are to SEPARATE from them. "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch no the unclean thing; and I will receive you " (II Cor. 6:17). This makes it plain. God's people are to come out of apostasy and religious error.

I see it often that Paul said to do away with the law,. Even though he was Yahshua chosen Vessel.

If Paul did this then why does he sacrafice in acts 21 as prescribed in Numbers 6? Shalom...Miles

Acts 21:20-27
20 And when they heard it, they glorified Yahweh. And they said to him, "You see, brother, how many myriads of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law; 21 but they have been informed about you that you teach all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children nor to walk according to the customs. 22 What then? The assembly must certainly meet, for they will hear that you have come. 23 Therefore do what we tell you: We have four men who have taken a vow. 24 Take them and be purified with them, and pay their expenses so that they may shave their heads, and that all may know that those things of which they were informed concerning you are nothing, but that you yourself also walk orderly and keep the law. 25 But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality."

26 Arrested in the Temple

Then Paul took the men, and the next day, having been purified with them, entered the temple to announce the expiration of the days of purification, at which time an offering should be made for each one of them.

27 Now when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews from Asia, seeing him in the temple, stirred up the whole crowd and laid hands on him,
NKJV

Num 6:9-21

9'And if anyone dies very suddenly beside him, and he defiles his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it. 10 Then on the eighth day he shall bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting; 11 and the priest shall offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and make atonement for him, because he sinned in regard to the corpse; and he shall sanctify his head that same day. 12 He shall consecrate to Yahweh the days of his separation, and bring a male lamb in its first year as a trespass offering; but the former days shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.

13'Now this is the law of the Nazirite: When the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the tabernacle of meeting. 14 And he shall present his offering to the Lord: one male lamb in its first year without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb in its first year without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as a peace offering, 15 a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and their grain offering with their drink offerings.

16'Then the priest shall bring them before Yahweh and offer his sin offering and his burnt offering; 17 and he shall offer the ram as a sacrifice of a peace offering to Yahweh, with the basket of unleavened bread; the priest shall also offer its grain offering and its drink offering. 18 Then the Nazirite shall shave his consecrated head at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and shall take the hair from his consecrated head and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offering.

19'And the priest shall take the boiled shoulder of the ram, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and put them upon the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved his consecrated hair, 20 and the priest shall wave them as a wave offering before Yahweh; they are holy for the priest, together with the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.'

21 "This is the law of the Nazirite who vows to Yahweh the offering for his separation, and besides that, whatever else his hand is able to provide; according to the vow which he takes, so he must do according to the law of his separation."

MILES,,

BELOW IS AN EXPLANATION OF WHAT YOU HAVE PRESENTED ABOVE. IT'S ALL ABOUT FAITH IN JESUS AND WHAT HE DID ON THE CROSS FOR US TO BE ABLE TO HAVE SALVATION AND SANCTIFICATION FROM SIN. WE ARE TO PRAY AND SEEK THE LEADING AND GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN ALL THAT WE DO. HE WILL ALWAYS POINT TO JESUS WHO WILL ALWAYS POINT TO GOD THE FATHER!

ACTS 21:

10: And as we tarried there many days(waiting for the Day of Pentecost), there came down from Judaea a certain prophet(the same Brother mentioned in Acts 11:28), named Agabus.

11: And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle(a sash worn around the waist like a belt), and bound his own hands and feet(presents that which The Holy Spirit told him to do as an object lesson), and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.(this was designed by the Holy Spirit to test Paul's resolution to obey the inward voice which bound him to go, even as Elijah tested Elisha)

12: And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.(but Paul must listen to the Holy Spirit, not men)

13: Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart?(They kept trying to persuade him, becoming emotionally distraught with some of them weeping) for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.(proclaims the consecration already settled in Paul's heart and mind respecting these coming events)

14: And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.(means that all had now come to the place where they realized what Paul was doing and the direction he was going were indeed the Will of God; Paul was a chosen vessel to offer the Kingdom to Israel, as well as to proclaim it among the Gentiles; the final offer he would shortly give to Israel was a Divine necessity; but as we shall see, they rejected that offer and went to their doom)

15: And after those days we took up our carriages(referred to their baggage, whatever that may have been), and went up to Jerusalem.(it was approximately sixty miles, and they probably walked)

16: There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea(meant that the party is now quite large, possibly numbering fifteen to twenty people, or even more), and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus(he was originally from Cyprus, but now lived in Jerusalem, or nearby), an old disciple(does not necessarily mean old in age, but thought by some to have been one of the original group Baptized with the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost), with whom we should lodge.(Mnason had invited Paul and his party to stay at his home while in Jerusalem)

17: And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.(indicates some of the Saints in Jerusalem, but not necessarily the leaders of the Church at this particular time; that would come the next day)

18: And the day following Paul went in with us unto James.(refers to James, the Lord's Brother, who was the Senior Pastor of the Church in Jerusalem); and all the elders were present(refers to the many Pastors who served with James concerning the Church in Jerusalem; the Church was quite large, perhaps numbering as many as thiry thousand members or more)

19: And when he(Paul) had saluted them(greeted them), he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.(gave an account of his second and third Missionary Journeys with the planting of many Churches)

20: And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:(meaning their newfound Faith in Christ stirred them up to serve the Lord with a new zeal, which they channeled in the direction of attempting to obey the Law of Moses to an even greater degree than ever)

21: And they are informed of thee(concerned itself with charges against Paul relative to what he was teaching concerning the Law/Grace issue), that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses(was not correct, at least in the manner in which it was being said; in fact, Paul preached almost exclusively from the Old Testament, holding up all that it stated as pointing to Christ), saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.(once again, this was not exactly what Paul was saying; he taught that Circumcision did not save the soul, and that no flesh shall be justified by the deeds of the Law(Rom.3:24-31;4:21;Gal.3:19-25))

22: What is it therefore?(I think this illustrates that James himself was not settled on the matter, respecting Paul) the multitude must needs come together: for they will hear that thou art come.(we aren't told anything about this particular meeting of which James spoke)

23: Do therefore this that we say to thee(proclaims a plan James , it seems, thought might defuse the situation): We have four men which have a vow on them;(pertained to the Nazarite Vow(Num.6:14-20))

24: Them take, and purify thyself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing(the thought here is that if Paul was as opposed to the Law as it was claimed, he certainly would not be in the Temple carrying out a Nazarite Vow, which was a part of the Mosaic Law); but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and keepest the law.(no answer from Paul is recorded; we know that Paul didn't keep the Law as it regarded all of its rituals and ceremonies; in fact, all of that was fulfilled in Christ; the only answer we can give concerning Paul's action in doing what James said is that he was trying to prevent a aplit in the Church; it is my opinion that James didn't understand the Message of Grace as he should, and was still trying to hold to the Law; about ten years later, the Lord made it impossible for the Law to be kept anymore, in that the Temple was totally destroyed by the Roman Army)

25: As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing(releases Gentiles from obligation to the Mosaic Law; it is obvious here, however, that James didn't include the Jews in this freedom, which presented a dichotomy and caused great problems in the Early Church), save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.(this was right; but as stated, James didn't include the Jews, which made that part wrong)

26: Then Paul took the men(the four men of Verse 23), and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification(presents something which Paul had, no doubt, done at times in the past), until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.(speaks of the Sacrifices to be offered at the conclusion of the seven days)

27: And when the seven days were almost ended(seven days of purification), the Jews which were of Asia(Jews came from all over the Roman Empire to keep the various Feasts; Ephesus was in Asia, so these Jews know Paul and were not happy with him at all), when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,(they bodily seized him)

28: Crying out, Men of Israel, help(Paul was in the innermost Court with other men): This is the man, that teacheth all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place(once again portrays one of Satan's favorite tactics of twisting what has actually been said to make it mean something else entirely): and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this Holy Place.(was an entirely false accusation; the four men with Paul were Jews)

29: (For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)(They jumped to conclusions!)

30: And all the city was moved(the claim that Paul had brought a Gentile into the Innermost Court spread like wildfire), and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple(actually means they dragged him out, beating him as they went; he was dragged into the Court of the Gentiles, which was the Outer Court): and forthwith the doors were shut.(referred to the doors of the Court of the Gentiles, and the Court of Women)

31: And as they went about to kill him(such is religion!), tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.(pertained to the Roman Tribune who commanded a cohort of approzimately a thousand soldiers)

32: Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.(which no doubt saved Paul's life)

33: Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.(speaking to the Jews)

34: And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.

35: And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people.(in order to protect him the soldiers were forced to lift him up, possibly even above their heads)

36: For the multitude of the people(the Jews) followed after, crying, Away with him.(presents the cry of those who had also thirsted for the Blood of Jesus Christ(Lk.23:18))

For the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus had made me free from the law of sin and death(Rom.8:2)

Without a doubt, Romans 8:2 is one of the most important Scriptures in the entirety of the Bible. It sums up all that Paul has been teaching. It tells us how the Holy Spirit works in our lives. Tragically, alot of Christians just take the Holy Spirit for granted, not really knowing how He works, what He does, and the manner in which He does it. Even though the Holy Spirit will do all He possibly can to help the Believer, still, if we function outside of God's Prescribed Order, which is Christ and the Cross, the help the Holy Spirit gives is greatly curtailed. This spells trouble. But let's see how He works.

First of all. this of which we speak is "the law," a law devised by the Godhead even before the foundation of the world(I Pet. 1:18-20). Being a "law," actually "the law," this means that the Holy Spirit is not going to work outside of the framework of this law. We should understand that.

It is the Holy Spirit Who works in the hearts and lives of Believers, Who Alone can make us what we ought to be. If we try outside of this "law" to develop His Fruit, or Chrislikeness, Righteousness, Holiness, or Victory of any nature, we are doomed to failure. We need to remember that! He will not differ from this, not vary from God's Prescribed Order.

He is called "The Spirit of Life" because He is the Superintendent of all that Christ did at the Cross. In a sense, the Holy Spirit is a dispenser of this "Life" afforded By Christ. In other words, you are not going to get it any other way.

The word "Life," as it is used here, refers to every single thing that Christ did at the Cross. In other words, everything that man lost in the Fall, and we mean every thing, was adddressed at the Cross, which is all wrapped up in the one word "Life." Admittedly, we do not now have everthing for which Jesus paid such a price, actually having only the firstfruits, with the balance coming at the Resurrection; still, what we actually do now have in Christ is enough to supply all that we presently need, whatever that might be. This is what "Life" in Romans 8:2 actually means.

While all of this "Life" comes from Christ as the Source, with the Cross as the Means, stil, it is the Holy Spirit Who is the Superintendent of all that Christ has done-The Dispenser, as one might say. It come from Christ by the means of the Cross and throught the Spirit(Jn.7:37-39).

The phrase,"In Christ Jesus," describes this "Law" and the way the Spirit works. Paul uses this phrase,"in Christ Jesus," or one of its derivatives, such as "inHim," etc. over one hundred times in his fourteen Epistles. Without exception, it refers to what Christ did at the Cross, all on our behalf. Paul never uses it in any toher fashion. It always refers to the Cross.

For us to be the beneficiary of all that Christ did, through which the Holy Spirit works, all that is demanded of us is that our Faith constantly rest in that Finished Work. This is imperstive. When this is done, all that Jesus did will be ours, guaranteed by the Holy Spirit.

"The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus," which we hopefully have explained, is the only "Law" which can give one victory over "the law of sin and death." No matter the effort made, if we try to obtain that victory by any other manner, defeat is sure.

If the Believer faithfully follows this which the Holy Spirit gave to the Apostle Paul, which Paul then gave to us, victory then is guaranteed and "the sin nature will not have dominion over us" (Rom.6:14). But if works of the flesh are prevalent in the Believer's life, that means that he or she is not functioning in "the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus," but rather i some law made up by themselves or other men.

In the Lord's Way is "Life"! In the Lord's Way alone is "Life"!

1: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2: And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3: And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4: And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.(Acts 2:1-4)

The word “Pentecost” in the Hebrew means “fifty” or “fiftieth.” It refers to fifty days after the Passover. The “Day of Pentecost” was one of the great Feast Days of the Jews. It occurred probably in late May.

It was on this “Day” that the Holy Spirit came to this world in a completely new dimension, all made possible by the Cross. Incidentally, the scene of this outpouring, as described in this Chapter, took place in the Temple, probably in the Court of the Gentiles. It took place fairly early in the morning.

The great characteristic of this outpouring was that, for all who were there that day, possibly 120 or more, when they were “filled with the Holy Spirit,” they all “began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” In fact, the Bible teaches that speaking with other tongues is the initial, physical evidence that one has been baptized with the Holy Spirit. There is no infilling without this particular sign. The Prophet Isaiah, in fact, some 750 prior, had predicted this phenomenon, and was quoted by Paul(Isa. 28:11; I Cor.14:21).

There are five accounts of outpourings of the Holy Spirit in the Book of Acts. Three of those accounts emphatically state that the recipients spoke with tongues(Acts 2:4; 10:26; 19:1-7). The other two occasions give no details, just saying, “They received the Holy Spirit”(8:17; 9:17). This doesn't mean they didn't speak in tongues, only that it is not mentioned. In fact, there is evedence they did.

Regarding the revival in Samaria, when Peter and John laid hands on these individuals that they might “receive the Holy Spirit,” Simon the Sorcerer saw this taking place and offered the Apostles money that he also may have power to do such. Peter answered him forthwith, “Your money perish with you...You have neither part nor lot in this matter”(8:20-21).

When Ananias prayed for Paul to “be filled with the Holy Spirit,” the Scripture doesn't tell us what happened. But Paul, concerning himself, said, “I thank my God, I speak with Tongues more than you all”(I Cor.14:18). So, the Biblical evidence is replete that all Believers will, without exception, speak with other tongues upon being baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Tongues are not incoherent babble or chatter, but rather a language known and spoken somewhere in the world, but not by the speaker who has been baptized with the Spirit. A perfect example of this is found on the Day of Pentecost. When the Jews were filled with the Spirit, there were other Jews in the Temple, many hundreds, no doubt, who were from all parts of the Roman Empire, and who also spoke the language of their respective area. They heard these “Galilaeans” speak their languages(Acts 2:7-13).

Some foolish souls have maliciously stated that speaking with other tongues is of the Devil. Of course, the statement is false, to say the least, But, for the sake of argument, we will say the following: If it is of the Devil, then it's the only thing the Devil has which makes people love the Lord supremely, love His Word supremely, and desire the things of God supremely!

Furthermore, when Peter began to minister on the Day of Pentecost, he didn't say, “This fulfills that spoken by the Prophet Joel,” but rather, “This is that which was spoken...”

This means it began on the Day of Pentecost, and it continues unto this hour.

“FOR JOHN TRULY BAPTIZED WITH WATER(merely symbolized the very best Baptism[Baptism of Repentance]Believers could receive before the Day of Penetecost);BUT YOU SHALL BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT NOT MANY DAYS HENCE”(spoke of the coming Day of Pentecost, although Jesus did not use that term at that time)(Acts 1:4-5)

When one speaks in tongues, one is declaring “the wonderful Works of God” (Acts 2:11).[/b
The great Prophet Isaiah said some 750 years before Christ, “For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people.

“To whom He said, this is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing; yet they would not hear” (Isa. 28:11-12).
These two Verses tell us that speaking with other tongues brings about a “rest” from the tiredness of the journey of life. As well, speaking with other tongues brings about a “refreshing,” which rejuvenates the person. In fact, the Apostle Paul quoted part of these Verses in I Corinthians 14:21-22).

The person who speaks in tongues, speaks unto God (I Cor. 14:2). Anything that’s spoken directly to God is good. Speaking in other tongues edifies the Believer, which we all need (I Cor. 14:4). This is the Lord’s answer for stress, emotional disturbances, nervous disorders, and the pressures of life in general.

When one prays in an unknown tongue, one’s spirit prays, which means that one prays exactly as the Holy Spirit desires the prayer to be given (I Cor. 14:14). Tongues are for a sign to unbelievers (I Cor. 14:22). Even though most unsaved do not know this, and would not understand it if it was told to them, we’re living in the last of the last days. It is a sign in this respect to the unbelieving world.

LOVE IN JESUS

interesting but a few mistakes.

1 the 50 day count does not start at Passover. It starts on the 1st regular sabbath after the Passover. in some years it could start as you say but most it would not. This is why pentecost is always on a sunday as the High Priest at the end of the regular sabbath after the Passover waves the wave sheafs for the people. Yahshua did this when he rose at the end of the sabbath. This is why he could not be touched as he had to be clean as High aPriest in the Heavens then he came back.

MILES,,BELOW, EVERYTHING THAT IS ADDED IN BOLD WILL BE MY RESPONSE TO ALL OF THIS YOU HAVE POSTED HERE, ADDED RIGHT WITH WHAT YOU WROTE::

I would take another look at Isa 28 YES LETS LOOK AT ISA.28;; Chptrs.28-35 is one continuous Prophesy, but the verses we are using also are Woes to Ephrim, Judah and Warning to Israel for thier actual and moral drunkardness. They were intoxicated with the strong wine of idolatry. But I'm only going to deal with the OP subject.

Isa 28:9-15

9 "Whom will he teach knowledge?
And whom will he make to understand the message?
Those just weaned from milk?
Those just drawn from the breasts? (This Verse is meant to be understood as the mocking words of the scornful men of Jerusalem(Vs.14). They taunted Isaiah with his own word, "knowledge"and"doctrine," insinuating that they were mere "catch-words.")

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept,
Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little." The idea is that everything must be measured by the Word of God. No other "measurement" will be accepted. To be sure, Judah fell woe-fully short)

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue
He will speak to this people. (The phrase, "stammering lips," refers to a proper language being spoken, but yet the people hearing it would not understand it. Paul quoted this same Passage as it regards the Gift of Tongues as a sign to unbelievers(I Cor.14:21-22). Oftentimes, the Holy Spirit used strange circumstances to present Prophecy proclaiming tremendously important coming events, even as this Prophecy does. Such also was the Prophecy given through Isaiah of the Birth of Christ through a "virgin"(Isa.7:14). The occasion would be the unbelief,, redicule, and scorn of wicked Ahaz. Therefore, it seems that the Holy Spirit designed bothe these Prophecies(the Virgin Birth of Christ and the Baptism with the Holy Spirit),to occasion faith in Believers and unbelief in mocker!))

12 To whom He said, "This is the rest with which
You may cause the weary to rest," And, "This is the refreshing";Yet they would not hear. (Coupled with Verse 11, this tells us that speaking with other tongues brings about a "rest" from the tiredness of the journey of life. As well, speaking with other tongues brings about a "refreshing," which rejuvenates the person. Many people ask, "What good is there in speaking with other tongues?" This mentioned by Isaiah presents two blessings, of which there are many. Regrettably, despite this tremendous gift given to the people of God, at least to those who will believe, like Judah of old, most "will not hear," even as Paul quoted Iaaiah(I Cor.14:21))

13 But the word of the Lord was to them, "Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line,
Here a little, there a little," That they might go and fall backward, and be broken And snared and caught. (The meaning is that because they would not hear, therefore, by a just judgement, will the simplicity of the Gospel become a stumblingblock to them, resulting in their captivity. While this "captivity" pertained to Judah of old, it also pertains to modern Christians who "will not hear.")

14 Therefore hear the word of the Lord, you scornful men,
Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem. (Isaiah now turns from a denunciation of the Priests and Prophets, who especially opposed his teaching, to a threatening of the great men who guided the course of public affairs. He called them "scornful men.")

15 Because you have said, "We have made a covenant with death,
And with Hell we are in agreement, when the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not come to us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves. (the "covenant of death" that Isaiah was speaking of was probably Judah's agreement with Egypt. It also refers to the "covenant" that Israel will make with the Antichrist at the beginning of the Great Tribulation. It is very interesting to see the terminology used by the holy Spirit. Truly the "covenant" that Judah had made, whatever it was, was with "death" and "Hell".)

MILES-------------------------NOW AS I HAVE SHOWN YOU ABOVE AND THIS ALSO STANDS FOR WHAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN BETWEEN THESE DOTTED LINES,,, YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE AND SHOULD NOT BE TELLING ANYONE ABOUT YOUR INTERPRETATION OF GOD'S WORD, OTHER THAN JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS SO THEY COULD BE FORGIVEN OF THIER SINS. FOR ALL YOU HAVE IS MAN'S UNDERSTANDING.. YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO LEAD AND GUIDE YOU. IT IS COMMANDED BY JESUS. I KNOW THIS MUST DISAGREE WITH YOUR RELIGION, BUT WHAT I AM TEACHING YOU AND OTHERS WHO WILL HEAR,,HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION.. THIS IS THE HOLY SPIRIT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT. DO YOU REALIZE THAT JESUS DIDN'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL TOLD BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. I PRAY THAT YOU TRULY PRAY AND ASK GOD TO HELP YOU KNOW,, BUT THE SCRIPTURE THAT YOU THOUGHT WAS TO DISAPROVE THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT WITH THE EVIDENCE OF SPEAKING IN TONGUES,,IS ACTUALLY SCRIPTURE TO SUPPORT IT.
NKJV
Thier is a speaking in tongues but this is not talking about the real thing but an imposter.

Some tale taling signs are said here to see who these imposters are.

1..13 But the word of Yahweh was to them, "Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little,"That they might go and fall backward, and be broken
And snared and caught.

Here they are snared in thier own words.

2... Since when does miracles happen where the person recieving the miracle falls backwards. Always forward face down in awe and being humble for what has happened.

That they might go and fall backward, and be broken And snared and caught

If you read on it warns that these are scornful men who has made a covenent of death.

We see this all the time healings and falling backwards.can this be of Yahweh.

Here a little thier alittle.. the pick and choose religion that satisfies itself.

Know a religion that has sprang up with zeal and if you do not speak in tongues u do not have the spirit. paul spoke about speaking in tongues and was not impressed with what was going on... Check it out thier are many prophecies that we do not want to understand...Blessings...Miles ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Miles and Art, Satan wants everyone to disbelive in The Baptism With The Holy Spirit because It is The Power, Strength, Rest and Refreshing from God to Us of Which Satan cannot do anything with. As with anything else of God,, Satan has his counterfeits to cause unbelief in people so as to cause them to go to hell. He can't destroy God's Truth, so he must cause deception. He hate us because he hates God.

But remember this: you are being informed about The Baptism With The Holy Spirit which is for Your Benefit and God doesn't deny Himself. Don't let Satan cheat you. All you have to do to receive is Pray, ask for it and Believe, just as your Faith in Christ and What He did on The Cross Saves,, You will receive The Baptism With The Holy Spirit right there where you are. So see, there isn't any church or religion you have to join,,, Just you and Jesus right there whereever you are right now. Ask and Believe!

“AND, BEING ASSEMBLED TOGETHER WITH THEM(speaks of the time He ascended back to the Father; this was probably the time of the “above five hundred”[I Cor.15:6]), COMMANED THEM(not a suggestion)THAT THEY SHOULD NOT DEPART FROM JERUSALEM(the site of the Temple, where the Holy Spirit would descend),BUT WAIT FOR THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER(spoke of the Holy Spirit, which had been promised by the Father[Lk.24:49;Joel,Chpt.2]), WHICH ,SAID HE, YOU HAVE HEARD OF ME(you have also heard Me say these things[Jn.7:37-39;14:12-17,26;15:26;16:7-15]).

“FOR JOHN TRULY BAPTIZED WITH WATER
(merely symbolized the very best Baptism[Baptism of Repentance]Believers could receive before the Day of Penetecost);BUT YOU SHALL BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT NOT MANY DAYS HENCE”(spoke of the coming Day of Pentecost, although Jesus did not use that term at that time)(Acts 1:4-5)

The last words spoken by anyone are very important. To be sure, the last words spoken by Christ are of the utmost significance. The account given in The First Chapter of Acts constitutes the last Message that Christ will deliver before His Ascension. Consequently, that which He says , as stated, is of supreme significance.

He could have spoken of coming world events according to Bible Prophecy. In fact, He could have said anything. His last Message, however, to His Disciples and all His followers was that they be Baptized with the Holy Spirit, which would take place in a few days. He did not suggest this; He “commaneded them”(Acts 1:4). In essence, He was saying, “Don’t go testify about Me, don’t go preach about My Resurrection, don’t go and say anything about Me or about the Work of God until you are first Baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

The Second Chapter of Acts portrays this momentous occasion when the Holy Spirit came in a new dimension, when all the Disciples and scores of others were Baptized with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking with other tongues.

Jesus had told them in His last Message in Acts 1:8,”BUT YOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER(specifically states that this”Power” is inherent in the Holy Spirit, and solely in His domain): AND YOU SHALL BE WITNESSES(doesn’t mean witnessing to souls, but rather to one giving one’s all in every capacity for Christ, even to the laying down of one’s life, if necessary)UNTO ME(without the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, one cannot really know Jesus as one should)BOTH IN JERUSALEM, AND IN ALL JUDAEA, AND IN SAMARIA, AND UNTO THE UTTERMOST PART OF THE EARTH”(proclaims the Work of God as being worldwide).
So, we learn from this that it is absolutely necessary for the person, after he/she has come to Christ, which means after he/she has been Born-Again, to be Baptized with the Holy Spirit. Jesus said so! Jesus says, in effect, that we are not going to do very much for Him unless we are Baptized with the Holy Spirit.

THIS OF WHICH I SPEAK ABOUT IS YOUR PRAYER LANGUAGE(THE HOLY SPIRIT PRAYING THRU YOU THE RIGHT PRAYER,SPIRIT TO SPIRIT).

It doesn't have anything to do with being one of the Nine Gifts which are:"divers kinds of Tongues(meant to be interpreted);to another the interpretaion of Tongues:"(ICor.12:10)

This is not a requirement for Salvation, But myself and others want All That God has To Offer. Plus Jesus commanded His Disciples.

The Great Commission provided in Luke 24:46-49.

46."And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:" (THIS IS THE STORY OF THE BIBLE)

47."And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name(Gods method of Proclaiming His Word and doing His Work) among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."

48."And you are witnesses of these things." (Christianity was not begun as the result of an enlightened philosophy, as with all religions; it was begun by men and women who literally witnessed the incarnate Son of God in all His earthly Ministry, as well as His Death and Resurrection; consequently they could say,"we have seen, and do testify".)

49."And, behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you(the Baptism with the Holy Spirit, which would come on the Day of Pentecost[Acts 1:4-5]):
but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem(the was where the Temple was located andwhere the Day of Pentecost was always celebrated, which would occasion the outpouring of the Spirit; this was only for the initial outpouring; since then, Jesus Baptizes with the Holy Spirit wherever the person might be[Acts Chptrs. 8-10,19]), until you be endued with power from on high. (This is The Baptism with the Holy Spirit, which is always accompanied by the speaking with other tongues[Acts 2:4]; without being thus endued, the Believer and the church cannot know Jesus as they should.

Though we are evil, God Loves Us So Much that He Sent His Son Jesus(VERY GOD AND VERY MAN) to Die a terrible Death, so that we have the opportunity to repent of Sin and get to live eternally in Heaven. But not only did Jesus die for our sins, but He also Provided The Holy Spirit to bring us Into Him to be the Best Servant, Friend, Brother, Sister Of His possible until we are Glorified.

This is presented in The Spirit and Truth of Jesus!
