I don't care about looks or money. I just want someone that can keep my attention for more than five minutes. I am absolutely on the same page as you. Unfortunately, because I am shallow, the only thing that can keep my attention focussed is a pretty face, that comes with a good figure, legs that don't quit, F-cup firm, bouncy things, etc. And this dude doesn't want much. |

I finally do a meet and greet with this guy. Everything goes great. He want's to take me on a real date. I send him message's, he read's them and, doesn't respond!!!!!!! (yes, this is on another site). What did I do wrong this time?????????? I've had somewhat different experiences, but the one comes close to yours. This woman & I chat off & on for several months. Due to a series of personal issues on both sides, we are finally able to agree to a meet & greet. Now mind you, she lives about 45 miles away & we decide to meet in a town that's the 1/2 way mark. She tells me because of the time factor, she would be heading straight from work. She works in a factory, so I wasn't expecting her to be all dolled up. We meet, I hugged her, she's no knockout but not kennel material either, we walked inside the restaurant, we had something to eat, conversed, made plans to meet again, I escort her to her car, give her a goodnight hug. Then, when I follow-up with her about the plans, she tells me she's been ill & apologized that she doesn't feel like going &... that's the last time I've heard from her. She's on facebook too & I notice every time I log on she's like Elvis & has left the building. What the heck!?! |

When Modelle snuck out of Cleve-Land oh so many years ago, I was in search of a pro team. So, b/c I always liked Favre's throw back playing style, I started following the Packers.
Face it, when Holmgren left town the Packers were never the same & Favre had to deal with a less-talented offense to try to score with for too many years & that's when all of the Favre nay-sayers started. Having said that I'm still a Favre fan. Call him blood & guts, like they did Patton, if you will, but there's no denying his tenacity & his thirst for winning. BTW, my sons & I like to pronounce his last name, Fav-ray. The way it's spelled, dammit. I think it sounds better anyway. |

i don't think anyone should "settle" for less than what they consider the "full package". luckily for all of us, the details of what is a full package varies and is different for each person. thats why someone is right for us and someone else isnt - even if they are equal in many things. would you want to be with someone that didnt think you were the full package? i wouldnt. My father would say, when referring to trying get someone's attention, "When you're talkin' to a mule the 1st thing you do is grab a 2x4 & smack it right between the ears. Then, once you have it's attention, you can talk to it." More often than not, I thought he was referring to me.

When I was younger I wanted a man who was good in bed and one who could keep my car running. As I got older, I wanted a man who was at least able to pay the rent and put food on the table and not come home drunk and beat the crap out of me. Now, I just don't want a man. I haven't found much use for them on a permanent basis. They are just too demanding. Oh well.

I absolutely miss this guy. When he died in the helicopter crash, I felt like I had lost a member of my family.  I saw him & DT in '89 & it's still favorite concert memories. 
Here's his cover of "Lil Wing". I think it's one of his best pieces ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdYRzH10L2M ~~~~ Yeah I saw him open for The Who in Dallas (one of their many many farewell tours)...incredible, he did the whole burning guitar bit...played behind his head...he let it all out that night. It was a major loss to music fans...we're lucky Clapton wasn't on that flight, they had just finished up Sweet Home Chicago with them jamming together. If a player tested positive and/or admitted steroid use during their career, yes if they broke a record held by someone for years. But then I want Pete Rose in the hall of fame. Shoot me for having an opinion on the matter but it's mine.. I just miss baseball before all this crap. At least the cleared bench fist fights are more PUMPED. 
I'm with purple. If they can allow these records to stand, then "Charlie Hustle" should be inducted into the Hall. Otherwise, this talk about "for the integrity of the game" is just blue-sky & nonsense. |
